You are hilarious! A true breath of fresh air. Thanks
Good informative video.
I use the vase method for thos "june bug beetles" works great!
You can also use a spray bottle or a pump up sprayer, a 16 ounce spray bottle full of water and add 1-2 teaspoons of liquid dish soap. The pump up sprayer add 1 gallon of water and 2 tablespoons of liquid dish soap. Spray the bugs for 1-2 seconds and watch them fall off and die. Dawn dish soap is my favorite.
Thank You
The soapy water is what I had to do with the Japanese beetles last year. Oh so many....
Does Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade work on stink bugs and other pests?
Except, I tried the soapy water drowning trick, that works on most insects, and these bugs are somewhat resistant to it, they apparently carry air under their shell, and can last a long time in soapy water, furthermore, the shell being half air, makes them float, so the don't drown, they climb back out.
It's hard to get the big vase under many spots in the garden. What I do is use a flat tool (such as a flat hand shovel or even a spoon) and something to poke them with. I place the flat tool a little bit away from the stinkbug and use the poke tool to make them run away towards the flat tool. He'll then be crawling on your flat tool which you can then use to carry him to the soapy water. A little tap above it and he'll fall in.
I been using ortho home defense and they just walk all over it and keep living, maybe I got a bad batch because its not doing anything to them, I found raid spray works better for me at least, plus on the back of a gallon of raid spray it has stink bugs among others that is made for and ortho home defense doesn't
They dont fall from a small tap. They latch on like glue
What was that about the rum making process? Lol
drowning one bug at a time? not sure if this makes a diference
I've never heard of stink bugs until noticed all the plants started looking dry and not surviving. When examined, the potted plants found a brown bug and then more and have tried everything like washing up liquid, vinegar, garlic spray, peppermint. I really can't do anything. I've got a small patio and over the other side of the wall are three siver birch trees and have never seen leaves or buds ? This will be coming up for 3rd year and this needs sorted because an infestation has started. I'm in Scotland , city of Edinburgh and will need find out what works as they keep coming back
What should you do when stink bugs are inside the house. Please respond.
Mine are in my house and make the smell without being bothered and I'm dying over here there coming in my ac units and window there window units
Lol the grumpy Gardner is 😂😂
The last one works wonders for Japanese beetles too
Do I need to do with each bug??😂😂😂
I use a Gatorade bottle, put anything thing that smell's good to me, Tide, Dawn, Downy, add that to the water, then when I see one I put the bottle up to it, they jump in and I put the lid on. One at a time they jump in and I can NOT STAND THEM! So I saw them last year and only a few this year, but I hate them.
