They still claim heating expenses, on their huge salaries. Ugly hypocrisy.
Whilst elderly people will be turning their heating off
Maybe allowances should be off set against donations received?
As well as £0.45p per mile travel expenses for their cars
And they want more heaters for their parliament offices.
And cheap booze and food in the Westminster bar!
Normal working people would call this a bribe

To be fair, the taxpayer only pays for the necessary additional expense of maintaining a *second* home for MPs, not both of them - they pay for the first one out of their own taxable income. It's hard enough to look after babies and children in your 20's and 30's, let alone your late 60's and 70's, but they don't feel they have much choice. If they don't help out, one of the parents will not be able to work. This government wants you to be worried so you end up in a nursing home so they can take your home. Don't let them win. I don't think this government will be in power for long something will give but in the mean time electric blanket is handy and if you have a fireplace with a chimney get it checked to see can you light fires. There is no climate change it's all about control over the people.
The Labour Party are doing a great job of taking focus away from what the Tories did.
Like the unlawful ppe contracts just for starters
They have come in and continued the legacy of the tories.
Most MPs are as thick as mince.
Well now hold on the mince can be more clever than the mps they are more tick as worms since they seem to have the same brain capacity and size by the looks of it in my opinion
Don’t be nasty to mince 😅
Mince is full of air
Doesn’t say much for those who voted for this current crop of parasites.
Having these past years watched Labour MPs speak on Parliament Live TV, can confirm they are blinded by their disingenuos hard left rhetoric
It’s not government money, it’s ours.
Our moneys been switched with promissory notes. Where is the gold or anything of any actual value in the fraud these demons call banks? They took out the real money, to create a more volatile situation and they push interest etc etc to escalate debt. It's why the moral law..IS Yahwehs law. Not mammon. *_IF IT HAD BEEN A TORY YOU'D NEVER HEAR THE LAST OF IT._*
And this is no different to be honest
@fredmercury1314 and we're still not hearing the last of Tories accepting donations. It is my belief that Labour keep plugging away about the Tories accepting donations in the hopes that we will forget about the Labour Party doing it.
The old saying "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" hasn't aged well for Labour 😂
@@donnamuldoon6685 But the public are actually far brighter than that - they will park this one add it to the poor treatment of pensioners and then take it out on them at the next election - as has just happened to the Tories,
Who knows perhaps our next government could be lib dems with reform in opposition - a really change to the two party politics - as happens ever few hundred years or so.
Seems we aren't hearing the last of it. It's quite simple. MPs of all colours/stripes have got used to the goodies and the gravy train and, with a few decent exceptions, think it their right. They're all as bad as each other.
Donation is a bribe.
£7,500 for clothes - my goodness!!! She's been had and it shows.
Obviously wasted on her.

They are funded by tax payers, their salaries are paid for by the tax payer, and they are well off, this is outrageous.
You never see these MPs ever take a hit to their own incomes at all, they never refuse expenses or other such perks and benefits. They never come out and say 'hold on, how about we also not get our gas and electric paid for anymore by the public'. Or ' Why don't we give up some of our expenses so that then then we don't have to cut the pensioners fuel payments'.

I don’t think they’re perplexed.
I think they’re simply being caught out and trying to cover themselves… miserably.

i would be perplexed too, if nobody cared about the millions the tories got over the past 14 years and now they complain about labour doing the same at a smaller scale? its not like she did sth illegal or tried to hide it... unlike johnsons wallpaper - for example - or johnsons various vacations, or johnsons loans etc. isnt it strange that the tories mps are very silent on that issue?
But the torys do it! That’s all they are thinking. Not to mention they will make millions giving speeches like every government before them.
