I remember in November of 2021 he did a set at the DNV festival. He said it was his first performance in like 1-2 years or something. At the end of his set he broke down. On the floor & just cried. I knew then he was going through it & I just cheered for him & cried. I’m sooooo glad he’s in a better place. He’s been a favorite of mine for years

What an inspirational interview. I disagree with him only about not naming his drug of choice only bc things have the power we give them, and not naming it is giving it power, imo. We need to destigmatize drug addiction. If we do, people won't be in the position that he was in where they were embarrassed/ashamed to tell a loved one about your problem.
But with all that said, this is an awesome interview. I was addicted to pills, then heroin, from when I was 16 until about 9 months ago. And I've never been better. So I like to see big names like him talking about their struggles. Good shit.

2021 was a hard year for everyone, I unbeknownst to me, became addicted to fentanyl. Instead of dying I got an autoimmune disorder (NMOSD).... 2021 was the year of the awakening. Especially if you were on a substance, a lot of people either died that year or were reborn. 💯💖🙏🏾 I was blessed. If you made it through that era you are too. 💯

I'm tired of hearing artist battle with addiction and anxiety famous celebrity and it's hard to deal with always keep the most high
Hate to break it to you but most artists are troubled and broken people. That’s what they harness to create there art
If you hate hearing it don’t listen. You must be a sober horse and soooo strong mentally…. Everyone has walks in life and even keeping the most high you still lose your way. Instead of saying good job another brother fighting the fight .. you speak of your tiredness .
