This is Interesting because i bought NVIDIA around September last year. The company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return last year, and I'm sure this year will present other interesting stocks.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K.
I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress. Being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Marisa Michelle Litwinsky’’ for about two years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
I appreciate this. After curiously searching her name online and reviewing her credentials, I'm quite impressed. I've contacted her as I could use all the help I can get. A call has been scheduled.
Palantir, ARM and Nvidia are all still good buy, with a long term growth potential and capital appreciation .I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...
I think the next big thing is A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.

I’m well positioned with good blue chip companies and A.I stocks but I know crash is inevitable. Intend buying $200K worth of Palantir soon, some experts say it's the next Nvidia. Hoping to retire comfortably in 5 years
People often underestimate financial advisors' importance. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $1 million portfolio, largely from early investments in AI and other growth stocks.
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘Grace Adams Cook’ for about two years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
If you are lucky, at the end of those 10 years the company will be worth about the same as it is today. If you are really lucky, it will be worth the same adjusting for inflation.
Stocks go up and down, but really good investments play out over a decade or more. This is not a trade to make a couple grand - it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity Unlimited use cases, unlimited TAM - will be a multi-trillion dollar company down the road - just watch.
@@Eric-kz9bk I think it has the potential to be a trillion dollar company in 10 years. Of course there will be many companies worth more, but the growth as AI continues to come online and Palantir is what synthesizes all of this data to make it usable for organizations. The "Information Age" gave us humans information overload. The "AI Age" is actually going to use all of that information and put it to good use.
Reason : "Heard a lot of paid UA-camrs, who are also pumping SoFi & Tesla - SO STRANGE, always the 3 same companies - to buy and hold it. I can name more than 300 public companies with better growth, more FCF growth, better margins and less depend on the governement spendings. A company not even making 500 million a year is worth 88 billion ? What a joke.
The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.
True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $480k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I just got an advisor and kept the money there, just because I didn't want to keep the value of the money depreciating in the bank. Tbh, it's the best investment decision I've made since then.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service?
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations since everyone's situation varies, but I've worked with Carol Vivian Constable for years and highly recommend her. Look her up to see if she meets your criteria.
Carol Vivian Constable is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment...
Investing does not need to be complicated. In fact, the simpler the better in my opinion. I'm retired and did so at age 42 with about $1.1M for two people. We had an advisor from Morgan Stanley in our corner. Maxed 401k for many years and then saved additional in index funds in taxable account. Our rate of return has been around 10% percent per year in the taxable account over the last 10 years.
Agreed. I have some fun money in RH but the big majority is managed by Morgan Stanley. I’m actually outperforming them this year but the value they’ve added in other ways over the last several is well worth it for me.
That's amazing congrats. I grew up in a cash only savings environment and a mother who has a small 401k saving. I’m just now learning about the stock market creeping towards 30 so I would appreciate more information about your advisor.
She goes by Nancy Magaret Delony I suggest you look her up. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
I just Googled her name and her website came up right away. It looks interesting so far. I'm going to send an email to her and let you know how it goes. Thanks for sharing
I use vanguard personal advisor services. They charge 0.3% a year. I could tell you what he has me invested in, but AGE matters so much. I am 52 and retired. So I have stocks and bonds. Stocks are in "Vanguard total stock market fund", and some in "Vanguard international fund". There might be a third similar one. I'd have to look at my bond fund. For you at age thirty, mostly stocks is advised.
I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated.
Nvidia stock is roaring like many did during the 1990s bubble. But this time around, the hype around new chips is happening in a more mature demand environment.
Yes, my asset manager advised I spread further into mutual funds and crypto Etf and boy am I glad I did. The whole idea is: Don’t get too greedy and also to exit at the right time, so generally I do find having an adviser very helpful, because what Avg. Joe really has time to watch and comprehensively analyse the market.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Brooke Miller.

I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. I'm looking atPALANTIR and other AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies
Well all i know is that you cannot go wrong taking profit at near high. No one ever went broke taking a ~20% profit. It's best if you consult with a fiduciary advisor in situations like this so you can make informed decisions.
That's a great analogy and I love the insight. Professionals could make a really big difference in investing, and I think everyone should have one. There are aspects of market trend that is difficult for the untrained eyes to see.
I have a female advisor named Camilla Marie Fuller. I recommend researching her. To be very honest, I'm glad I decided to let someone handle expanding my finances even though I almost didn't think I should.
I'm furious! Actually I'm expecting the stock to go sideways or not do much for the next 3-6 months until additional catalysts come through after it's incredible run. 😎
Save everyone who uses it millions. Palantir is (and is going to continue to be) the AI government uses to surveil everything about you even crypto transactions and combine/flag the metadata and patterns to identify you. They do some probably not so great things (from the government side) but they are good at it.
Every week I buy more of whatever is the lowest percentage of my portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Please what could be my safest buys with $400k to outperform the market in 2024?
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.
I agree. Based on personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $385k in a well-diversified portfolio that has experienced exponential growth. It's not only about having money to invest in stocks, but you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to back it up.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
I own shares of SBUX, NVDA, PLTR, TSLA, and APPL, and I'm comfortable holding them long-term. However, I'm also interested in exploring short-term trading opportunities (within the next 6-12 months) that could generate returns of $200k or less.

I put $27,000 of my house down-payment cash in Sofi back in Oct. of 2021 when it was racing up over $20. Now 3 yrs later I'm still holding and looking forward to breaking even...
In my opinion, almost time. Sold almost half. I don't want to stay until the end. My neighbors who never ask stock market ask me how to buy QQQ & NVDA. I think it's done. What about you think?
Yep great question and that’s always the one - where would you rather be if you have an option. Personally I’m always invested aside from a small emergency fund. Financial-market for me seem the only way forward with my long time horizon (accrued almost $1.4m in gains since 2020 ) but if you don’t have that fortune of time it’s a tough market out there almost nowhere feels safe! . Just know the risk you're comfortable with . Mistake is expensive
well a million in profit is a nice milestone, how did you achieve that? I guess you have a proven trading strategy that you've spent a lot on please share more info !! and YES I don't want to make
I work with Nancy Magaret Delony . Investing with her has been a different ball game entirely so different from the stale methods of managers I’ve worked with in the past. She has a large following and is easily found online.
one option I suppose is, if you were to invest a set amount buy the whole share in a ETF and the remainder could go into a index for which would allow you to purchase the fractional shares, is that an option?

Currently holding 1200 shares in PLTR with average cost basis of 18.80. I’d say I didn’t over pay and will probably hold it for a very long time. 😁 Thanks for covering it Joe!
I sold PLTR at $30. Wished I didn’t but I’ll take the win. I was afraid that it’s becoming expensive when it was $30 so I agree that it’s even extremely expensive now.
I already own shares of NVDA, PALANTIR, TSLA, and APPL as well. Sure, I don't mind having these equities sit around for a while, but I'd also like to appreciate short-term opportunities that could fetch $200,000
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.
I think people that get triggered and calling people that think a company is overvalued are probably going to be very terrible investors. If all they think all 'good companies' are investible, they will eventually lose a lot of money from overpaying for these good or even great companies. At the end of the day, Palantir needs to do exceptionally well just to give you 'reasonable returns'. It will need to be absolutely amazing to give you above average returns. There are easier investments to make.
I'm an amateur with a portfolio of 180k and I've got some real estate holdings too, but it's hard for me to build confidence. I want to invest another 70k over a one month span, but I want to be strategic about doing it so I can grow more and not stay stagnant. Is this a good stock suggestions?

I am awfully late in investing at 33 with just about $80,000 in savings as i have never invested in the stock market. I’m worried about missing out on compound interest and want to make smart choices for my future. If I invest aggressively, can I still retire with at least $1 million by age 65?

This is why I entrusted a fiduciary with my investmnt decisions. Many underestimate advisors until emotions lead to losses. My advisor crafted a tailored strategy aligning with my long-term goals, guiding entry and exit points for the equities I focus on. This has grown my portfolio to over $850k. My personal best so far

I immediately jumped to my keyboard and as a shareholder I must say - you're absolutely right. Still going to hold it since I bought in at the lows and even if it drops a lot, I will still be in the green. So, rather not trying to time the market here 😅
The best valuation for a growth company is DCF. You must also consider the forecasted industry market cap, The leadership team, and the underlying business. You might be doing the company a disservice by valuing it with trailing numbers.
Roughly $120K in my portfolio are in tech/TSLA stocks, can I get an advice on any other stocks that I can acquire to diversify my reserve across multiple markets while creating a comprehensive portfolio allocation that balances my concerns of risk aversion and returns that meet yearly inflation.

True. Having the right financial planner is invaluable. My portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 90% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, though this could take till Q3 2024.
Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation.

PLTR is like NVDA You just pay the premium if you want to own it. Sometimes Evaluation doesn’t show everything PLTR is proving that NOW im still buying it and people were calling me crazy when I bought 400 shares at $30
"Thanks for the video! It's oddly comforting to see so many die-hard Palantir stockholders hanging on for dear life. Now I can confidently hold my shares-and maybe even buy more-because who doesn't love a good challenge as the price skyrockets, right? And of course, reading the comments is like checking the stock market with a crystal ball. Appreciate the insight!"

I've been through the 'bonds and beating stocks' periods since the 90s with no bonds and with all aggressive stock mutual funds. As a shareholder and megabull I agree. Have a $7-$10 average. I sold CCs that I expect will expire worthless and I’ve already sold a bit of my position this year during this massive run. Holding most shares for decades! As a personal trainer I’m thrilled to see a power rack behind you, investing in your health has the best ROI💪😊. What’s money worth if you don’t have the health to enjoy it?! You’re the only youtube “finfluencer” I listen to, and the only one I refer my friends to with little to no investment knowledge.
The exuberant bullishness from retail investors in this comment section, is exactly why you need to be careful if attempting to buy PLTR right now. Many of you were not around in 2020-2021, and it shows.
AI stocks are poised to dominate in 2024. I favor NVIDIA for its strong long-term growth potential and its support of other AI companies. Someone I know gained over 200% with NVIDIA, but I'm also open to considering the other recommendations you've provided.
I agree. Even with great opportunities, we should proceed cautiously. Seeking market analysis or advice from certified market strategists is important.
In my country, Denmark, there is one big fund that buys PLTR, and the women behind is a quite good investor. She has been saying big tech mag 7 for years and years, GOOG and so on. She was often in the business paper here, called "Børsen" (Translated, stock exchange/market place) yeah i know funny name. But she made her point again, and again, these businesses have dominant and monopolistic business models. So far she's been right. Everyone thought that big tech couldn't perform anymore, she hold her positions. I have a position in PLTR, som i am biased. But it's a very small position. I also thought FICO was so so expensive, but here we are over 60% in return. Sometimes you have to dip the toe. Winners often keep winning, and that's why you should hold your winners, and sell the losers!
"Just watch the segment and then leave your angry comment" Ha ha ha...I love it! PLTR has just about ALWAYS been expensive. No angry comment here....Thanks for all your diligent work on everything you speak on.
Joseph you are damn right about Palantir, also insiders sell shares big time at the end of September: Alexander Karp $325,584,090 Sep 17, 2024 Peter Thiel $597,001,788 Sep 26, 2024 I bet will be a bloodbath at the next earnings next month, but my account is not margin so I can't short them to the ground :)
They sold into the highs, Karp deserves to take a big check. Thiel just does whatever he wants. Nothing wrong selling near highs. If it was the other way around, thats a different story.
You are simply brilliant Joseph. Love your balance and safe suggestions of investing. It would be nice if you also spent some time on future winners, as I did not buy some of the stocks you mentioned when they were cheaper.
Great job Joseph. Looking at the investment without involving emotion. I’m still a holder of the stock but this is how we should all evaluate a stock so we’re aware of the risk. Keep up the great content.
The simple solution is that you don't start with a full position in companies that you think are expensive. You start with 10 or 20 percent of your normal position size. In time if it pulls back, you buy some more. In time if it keeps going up, you buy more and be happy that you own a little at a lower price. Simple DCA, NO BIG DEAL.
Hi Joseph, long time viewer here. Appreciate your videos always, and appreciate how you tried to be diplomatic about Pltr. As a pltr holder, i’m not offended, and agree with what you said. have been selling call for half a year.
Got in a ton of shares at below $10. Those were the great days. I fully agree it is extremely overvalued and is very likely to cash in sooner or later.
i just regret i didnt start with the stock market sooner, started around July this year and Palantir was one of the first shares i bought got 75 of them atm. Will buy more and keep them for atleast 2030.
Sold calls at 45 and some stock at 37 still holding tho my biggest position 27% of my portfolio and gonna hold until my wife leaves me for losing all our money on a Spyware company
That's reasonable. A lot of good metrics-based analysis. At the same time, pointing out that your analysis of NVDA, for example, might reveal a regret over missing out is not 'hatred' or 'anger.' PLTR is my second largest holding, but you provide some points well worth considering.
Totally agree its expensive. I bought at $18, sold at $32 and redeployed to another investment, I'm happy to sit out for a while and wait for a pullback, if it doesn't happen I'm fine either way.
Hi Joseph! Love your content keep it up! Could you do a video on ASML and why you don’t consider it a good stock to invest in? You often talk about how important it is for a company to have a wide moat and ASML seems to have one of the widest moat of any company. Thanks!
Basically all media and corporations are liberal and disparage conservatives and their views. Hurting companies financially is the only recourse to being called a bigot or some “ist” at every turn. And companies are starting to listen so it seems like it’s slowly working. 🤷🏻♂️
I sold Palantir a week ago. It's the one stock where I am in and out because of the high valuation. Lucky me I bought LVMH for the money and that went 15% in a week. I wish it could always be like that.
In these unpredictable times, it's crucial to manage money wisely and invest prudently. My $240k reserve has been idle with little profit not increasing more than 5% and people are predicting a crash, inflation is eroding my savings. I need a solution to protect and grow my funds.
stock market crying with little down tick while we have been dealing with double digit real inflation for a year. consult with an advisor so you don't get burnt in the market.
I think my only issue with the comparisons made is that 95% of the reason you choose companies is free cash flow. And because of that, you tend to pick companies who are already close to their peaks instead of having room to grow. It’s safer to invest that way, but with half a million cash in the market, the portfolio has only grown 30% if you remove all of M1’s erroneous statistics. CRM fundamentally is the better deal today. But, honestly, of all the companies you named, if you bought them today, which of them do you think is more likely to 3x in the next 5-10 years. For those of who don’t have $500k cash to spend, you have to be skilled enough to find stocks that will get to those trillion dollar valuations, not so much companies that already are there.
It depends on what exactly you put in 'free cash flow'. There is quite a bit of research out there that suggests that it is a much better idea to invest in companies that actually make a profit. But depending on the accounting, money reinvested in the business like through aquisitions, new factories or more R&D will not be measured in free cash flow. Obviously the actual compounding machines are the businesses that can reinvest in themselves at high returns of invested capital, not the ones that produce lots of true free cash flow since they have very limited oppurunities to reinvest.

I prefer to invest in large cap companies which have economic moats, good cash flow and strong balance sheets such as AAPL, SCHD, NVDA and Barclays.
People often underestimate financial advisors' importance. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $1 million portfolio, largely from early investments in AI and other growth stocks.

Perfect. Me too.
If you are lucky, at the end of those 10 years the company will be worth about the same as it is today. If you are really lucky, it will be worth the same adjusting for inflation.

It keeps going up regardless of what you say.
PLTR is being added to the S&P, so likely has short term swing trades front running the fund purchases.

Hi Joseph! Love your content keep it up! Could you do a video on ASML and why you don’t consider it a good stock to invest in? You often talk about how important it is for a company to have a wide moat and ASML seems to have one of the widest moat of any company. Thanks!
For a group of people who call others snowflakes, they sure get upset over the most insignificant things.
They’re so online… recreationally outraged conservatives.
Basically all media and corporations are liberal and disparage conservatives and their views. Hurting companies financially is the only recourse to being called a bigot or some “ist” at every turn. And companies are starting to listen so it seems like it’s slowly working. 🤷🏻♂️
yeah communism is real insignificant... ready some history toolbag..
@@darrenhere5856 8 years of Obama, 4 years of Biden, still not communist… maybe just maybe both parties are capitalists.
They’re not the ones who moan about everything being "racist" or offensive so project harder.
You believed it was extremely expensive when its stock price was $6.
I’m mostly in index but I am the biggest fan when it comes to the argument of different individual stocks. Always make sure to grab popcorn
How do you get the institutional vs retailer ownership information?
So how do you find a company that will teach a trillion in valuation, that isn't already close there already?
Salesforce is up 6.8 this year. How is that worth investing in?
It depends on what exactly you put in 'free cash flow'. There is quite a bit of research out there that suggests that it is a much better idea to invest in companies that actually make a profit. But depending on the accounting, money reinvested in the business like through aquisitions, new factories or more R&D will not be measured in free cash flow. Obviously the actual compounding machines are the businesses that can reinvest in themselves at high returns of invested capital, not the ones that produce lots of true free cash flow since they have very limited oppurunities to reinvest.
You should've touched on their dilution as well!
Since this video, PLTR had dabbled. I guess, Good call Joseph.
