- Kohlrabi is a simple crop that provides a lot of food. In addition, it can be grown for a long time and sown almost all year round in winter, spring and summer. In this video I will show you one of my favorite varieties and give some tips on how I use the kohlrabi leaves.
You can put English subtitles on this video by clicking the “cc” button in top right corner of the screen

Hello Sara 😊 I have been following you channel before you bought flower farm. Thanks for publishing in English again ❤
Thank you, Sara, for the lesson on kohlrabi, I have never grown or eaten it, but my mother loved to grow it. It sounds tasty! I am enjoying the videos with subtitles, thank you for providing them. I do need to slow the playback speed down to .75 so I have time to read the words on the screen, but it works.
Thanks! That is a great idea!
This was interesting. Being from Newfoundland, I am very familiar with cabbage and turnip but not kohlrabi. How do you treat them from green worms or other pests in a natural way? Would they cook nice baked cut up in small pieces on a baking sheet with oil and seasoning?❤
They are actually easy to grow, since the worms only eat the leaves and not the kohlrabi. We eat them raw, baked, cooked, fried etc. Nice and gentle taste, not at all sharp. The kids love it! You should give it a try. =)
