I've had mine for 2 years and absolutely love it.. my favorite M car of 4 that I've owned.

As an owner of an M140i for the past 4 years, the M2C is the ultimate M car for the UK roads.
I had plans on spending £20k upgrading my car, and it would turn it into an M2C, M3, M4 killer. But it would still be an M140i.
I stuck with a downpipe, remap, and xHP3 software for the ZF8, and for a total spend of £23k I think I made the right choice. My car is faster on a roll race than a standard M2C, RS3, A45s, and many other 'fast' cars, and I'm still only 23 grand into it, and it's been running 455bhp/634nm reliably for the past 4 years no probs.
The ZF8 as standard is a lot smoother than the DCT but a bit dim-witted until you map it with xHP3, but after you do that, the ZF8 is a better gearbox in every situation. Smooth when cruising but just as fast, just as direct, and if anything better than the DCT imo, and being in the motor trade I have driven a number of different cars for comparison.

The F87 will be a classic. Such a compact, nimble and fast car. A downpipe, a lower suspension and a tune and you're flying! DCT or Manual doesn't matter.

@@Blakey748Do you think the G87 will dethrone the F87 or did BMW out do themselves with the F87 Comp?
I’m not sure tbh. I have been in a G87 and it’s a nice motor as are all new BMWs. It definitely doesn’t feel as raw and does feel like a much bigger heavier car. I’ll hold judgement until I have driven one though I think!
Great video, it’s certainly a brilliant car! But for the money I would get an M140i and spend the extra on mods 😂
Yeah the M140i + £20k would be a much faster car tbf. But it wouldn’t ever look as good in my opinion but maybe I’m blinded by love 😂
@@Blakey748 I agree on the looks, but people have put an M2 Comp Front Bumper on the M140i! 😂 so that’s why I would get it
@@FlynnBellamyCarsgot an m140i, looking for an M2c, you could spend the 20k but the f20 is not and never was an M chassis.
My M2C is my daily driver, I’ve had no issues with that being a dd other than it’s not the best in the snow, but snow days are very few compared to the rest of the year

Thank goodness for BMW's latest offering of the G87 M2 that looks like it's been hit with an Ugly Stick! Makes me appreciate just how much nicer my M2 C looks.

Agreed. No matter how fast we make our 140s they’ll never beat a proper M car imo. But they are great value for money!
I want the new rs3 8y but not at the current price so just purchased an m2c for the money there’s nothing better
Yeah all the new RS and M models are ridiculous money and, until I’ve driven them and maybe changed my mind, I don’t think they’re worth anywhere near what they cost.
I agree the best m car visually and drivers car, I owned a og m2 for 3 and half years and absolutely loved it, on the lookout now for the m2 competition alow mileage one, anyway great informative video. Thanks buddy😊

I've had and driven loads of different performance cars and the M2C I would say is one of the best M cars you can buy.
The M140i is good but the M2C wins hands down 😁
G87 fast & lazy, SQ & Borin & made in mexico.... F87 playful & nimble, sharp curve & aero, car design connected to driver emotion & it was M car Made in Germany by German....
If I could locate a "CS" I'd be all over it.

Hobbled by crappy OEM suspension.
Maybe cause I daily an M140i, which famously has terrible OEM suspension, it doesn’t feel so bad 😂
@@Blakey748 I ran one for a year Get the Bilstein B12 kit, don’t slam it. It’s a big improvement
