It’s the six Pygmy’s story!! It’s true! Dainslief was part of- in whatever way - of the group that did something terrible to the blond haired prince/ss , and then he his something and took it away - equals ‘bough-keeper’ and that thing keeps him alive and healthy(ish)! Whoa … I need to find the video that originally put that idea in my head now and check facts! But I don’t think he necessarily just ‘witnessed’ it happening, I’ll listen again, but it sounded like he was part of it. And who were the young heroes? Could it have been the other sinners? In the Pygmy’s tale dain would be one of them - and the rest were the sinners. He was the only one with a conscience but it was too late. Hence the princess hating him. And his guilt. Whoa… poor Dainslief though, whatever happened it was bad!
Remember back in Sumeru, Araja said that the light in Traveler's Performance was much brighter than their siblings? I wonder if Khaenri'ah or the Abyss had something to do with it.
Dainsleif has confirmed previously that he has a "it" that helps his keep himself in one piece to some degree Also it would've been really funny if the Aranara called the traveller the "Blonde Nara" instead of the holden Nara

There were hilichurls(sp?) around before Khaenri'ah's fall. So its hard to say which ones came from there. We can assume the 3 tribes in Mondstadt are from Khaenri'ah. But elsewhere its hard to say which ones were around before it fell. Also, I mentioned the reason for this in another comment to you. But again: sorry for the likely typos im missing.
All hilichurls are from Khaenri’ah. It’s just that the ones from before the cataclysm are people who left by their own will, while the hilichurls who came after the cataclysm were ones who left due to the danger of staying. It is said that the hilichurl population had a massive increase after Khaenri’ah’s destruction.

You know... What if what I'm about to say is true: - The Abyss twin died during the cataclysm, that's why Nahida could only access their information up to a certain point - Dain is carrying and using the twins remains to stop the curse from spreading, since those curses are abyssal in nature and elemental energy and phlogiston cancels out the abyss and since they are starts, they are the most purest source and medium for that type of energy - The encounters we've had up to this point with the twin are just projections and memories of themselves used by the abyss to mimic them, like the most sophisticated version of the mimiflora and the whooperflower albedo. - Dain feels like he failed her and wants to bring her back to life but he also wants to rescue his brother and change the world Edit: - Also, what if the destroyed celestial body beyond the firmament of natlan is the twins original world
Yeah that'll probably explain why irminsul doesn't consider the twin as descender, because they're just a copy made by the abyss, the specialty of the abyss
Hmm.. Well, we knew the siblings have some form of royalty, as hintwd throughout the game by khaenri'ahns, liloupar, etc. The.. "glorious kingdom".. Perhaps isn't what we think it is. Now I'm curious about if the forbidden knowledge that King Deshret threatened to bring into teyvat was actually just outlandish information from a khaenri'ahn sinner. I'm getting the lore somewhat jumbled up. I have my doubts about the glorious kingdom being the one depicted in the bp. Because if so, how does Venti know? If only we had Rukkhadevata to answer our questions or something- alas, we have got a radish instead. Still helpful however. Back to the point: I think it's best to wait for 5.3 .. perhaps there will be some lore bombs. ..i wonder who the nameless person actually is.
1:34 "in her brief life" so what does this mean? the princess can't be that young because it's mentioned later about them having "too-long lives" or something or maybe there's rebirth happening? 🤔 is that why the abyss sibling is recorded in the irminsul?
Well back when he knew her at that age she was no where near 500 yet. Both of them eventually lived just super long lives but at that point they could have been normal aged
In the Chinese text for the wind glider, it's mentioned that the brief life is related for how long she stayed in Khaenri'ah, the twins are probably way older than 500 yo.
I realize the wings say the Sibling is young but we know they are not. A better question would be why did the Sibling lower themselves to help out such a minor nation. It would be like going from being president of the USA to afterwards becoming the mayor of a small town. I guess she just took pity on them with their insane King. The wings do NOT say the Sibling was corrupted by the Abyss. In fact we can deduce that they never did get that Abyssal power because if they did then they'd be able to beat Dainsleif in a sword fight, right? So where did that Abyssal energy end up? Well we know a group of "young" people who helped Dain defy King Irmin's decree (to lock up Vedrfolnir), four or five leading lights of the younger generation of Khaenri'ah like Dain. They ended up flooded with Abyssal energy enough to end a world. Wonder where they got that from, eh? Same reason Sibling did NOT get all the energy? And now we know what event Dain did that Sibling blames him for the entire mess. He killed king Irmin. Or something like that. He and his "Sinner" buddies were already up for treason the moment they decided to free Vedrfolnir of course (reversing the king's orders). Yeah I can see how regicide might make a difference to the unfolding events. And yet in Dain's mind this was a righteous act because Irmin was insane (which is hinted at in the Arlecchino stuff - the weapon I think). Sounds like killing Decarabian, or Och Kan, or any of the other insane dictators. -------------------------------- So the pureblood obsessed Khaenri'ahns accepted a stranger as the heir who had no ties to Khaenri'ah or it's pure blood. Why? Because they were a Descender of course, the very type of femi-god like being they had been searching for thousands of years. But perhaps it's more. Does the Sibling in fact in some respects have similar blood to the royal bloodline due to the primordial Khaenri'ahn's blood heritage on their mother's side? And yes, Dain is a nobody after all. He's not older than about 500-550 years old. He has no special secrets it seems. Anfortas still seems to jump the gun on his regency. Now he had a king AND an heir missing, although it seems the Sibling was only missing for a little while. Shouldn't Anfortas have known the heir was around and due to return? I guess he didn't and wanted some sort of chain of command? I don't see why he needed to jump to creating a regency. So presumably the energy absorption thing has something to do with Sibling becoming a not-Descender? But this doesn't seem to give a reason for them escaping from the Unknown God so quickly, or the Sibling lying by omission to the Traveler as to their purpose in attacking the Unknown God (they certainly were NOT trying to just leave Teyvat). You could argue maybe the Unknown God just puts Sibling back in Teyvat because they "belong" there so are supposedly chained by their "fate" and therefore not a threat -- all evidence against that not withstanding? They did just come and attack you dude. Yeah I don't think that theory is right. Dain hates the Sinners his former buddies in the map cap little scheme to nip down to the lowest levels of Khaneri'ah and rescue his bro. He does not hate the Sibling though. We're told that in Bedtime Story. So Dain does NOT think that the Sibling abandoned Khaenri'ah as he says of his former comrades. Dain does NOT blame Sibling but Sibling blames Dain. Maybe the issue is that the while Dain and pals were journeying down wards to save Vedrfolnir, which they managed I guess, they happened to bump into the Prince and Irmin coming from having a ton of Abyssal energy absorbed - which had worked and everything was fine. Then something happens and it's Dain's fault. Perhaps it's his fault because he's the reason the "Sinners" were down there to begin with? Or because he kills Irmin? Or because for some reason the "Sinners" end up absorbing massive Abyssal energy from the Sibling? Energy that was needed for protecting Khaenri'ah perhaps? Perhaps defending Khaenri'ah from an attack that Vedrfolnir had predicted? The "Sinners" got the energy but for whatever reason were unable to control it or use it or were unwilling (Dain's view, which seems unlikely). Thus Sibling blames Dain correctly and Dain does not blame Sibling. ---------------------------- No, this answers more questions than it asks. Or rather the questions that are raised were always around. It's a confirmation of what was suspected in large part.
Have you heard/read the Six Pygmy’s? What you just wrote was what I was thinking and I was thinking it because it makes sense that the Pygmy’s book was true and Dain was the Pygmy that felt ashamed afterwards and took something away - check it out if you haven’t/ re look after this lore! Super cool :)
regarding the wings saying the Sibling life was brief, from my understanding it is an inaccurate translation. If you look at the cn text it says something more like that the siblings time in khanriah at the time had been brief

The BT cinematic gender doesn't change with your MC choice with means the characters on that cinematic can not be the traveler / sibling. Btw, they removed the cinematic recently. I wander if its just because no one wants to watch it for the thousand time or if there is more to it.
That explanation really doesn't hold up. All official animation about the travelers has Lumine as the Abyss twin. Including the video I used alot for this one, road not taken. Same goes for the Teyvat storyline preview and anniversary stuff. So thats hardly a reason not to believe the BP one. I'm also inclined to think they took it out because people fussed. Kind of a shame to be honest. It was nostalgic and you could easily skip it after a few seconds
@@theunlikelygenshingamer I also don't think the BP talks about them. Sorry. Hoyo is so careful to change the pronouns in the game, and not there. I think they wouldn't be so careful with the pronouns in the BP because we would expect it to be the same as the official stuff. But they didn't change the pronouns in it, when they could have (Hoyo said both traveler's are canon years ago and that they used just Aether (one very short promo cinematic does use Lumine as traveler with Paimon) because their audience in China was getting confused. But by the time HSR came, they had learned to not worry about confusing players, it seems - they had used just Aether for so long that it would confuse players now if they suddenly stopped). So until I see solid proof that the twins are the characters in the BP I'm going to believe Hoyo that they are both canon travelers. I think the BP is hiding other info and that the lack of a change in pronouns is a clue to it (though not going there, typing too much is painful- explained below). That said, I try to respect the opinions of others, and hope that they respect mine. So while it seems to you to be a shallow reason to not consider the BP- I think it's something else because they could have easily changed the pronouns in the BP since it's in game and we would have all assumed it was the traveler it was talking about. But until they do something else with it to prove that it would be the traveler's, then I'm going to continue thinking it is something else. Something bigger. Also, sorry for any bad typos. Even when I get the wings in 5.3 I'm not sure my sight ir my hand will be better. Waiting to go to the eye doctor till my spine surgeon clears me. I really wonder what Khaenri’ahn military structure is like. But I still think Khaenri’ah had many high ranking named officials and Capitano was definitely one of them
First of all, what is the name of the track that plays at 0:10? Second, I also had my suspicions that there was something strange with the travelers, since the moment Canotila called them "Beast capable of devouring the world" I always suspected that it had something to do with the Abyss, and now that these wings have come out, what has been revealed to us in the new mission of 5.2 has made me think that the Twins are actually some kind of Lovecraft-type entity. Also, something that I find curious is that both the traveler and Paimon are immune to the effects of the Abyss without having serious side effects, however, the latter was affected by the residue of gods, as happens in the factory of Delusions and the power of Raiden when leaving Tenshukaku, the same with the powers of the dragons, because the traveler after resonating with Hydro was just as sensitive as Neuvillette and was able to speak with the Oceanid of the Fontana Lucine, apart from the fact that he has Phemuma alignment, also, without counting the Melusines, the Traveler was able to listen and enter the mind of Elynas who is another being of the Abyss. Therefore I think that the Twin who is a descendant came from the sea of stars (The same Place of the Narval and maybe Goysothot) and the one who belongs to Teyvat is a clone or its reverse copy, since since 4.8 the emphasis was being placed on the subject of mirrors and reflections with everything in Simulanka.

When Khaenri'ah chapter drops, y'all will see that the Traveller has huge Abyss resistance in the stats while the other characters might not
Remember back in Sumeru, Araja said that the light in Traveler's Performance was much brighter than their siblings? I wonder if Khaenri'ah or the Abyss had something to do with it.
Dainsleif has confirmed previously that he has a "it" that helps his keep himself in one piece to some degree
Also it would've been really funny if the Aranara called the traveller the "Blonde Nara" instead of the holden Nara

Couldnt it be that the original bp thing, was the last planet they were part off
That's what I think it even says here that they used to be scions of a glorious kingdom. Same description. I don't think the BP was meant to confuse people so much it was supposed to be clear that it's the travelers but now you had to figure out what happened and what is the Genesis pearl and who deceived her. It's not even like they are hiding the fact that they fully consider Lumine the Abyss twin.
I personally believe the moon is the Genesis pearl.
@@Yuxi_no_sabe_nadaonly the last part of what you said is true. Nothing states that other people couldn’t receive the curse of the wilderness, only that it was given on those who weren’t pure-blooded Khaenri’anhs
@@Yuxi_no_sabe_nadaI recommend going to Sal Vindagnyr (Dragonspine), which was before Khaenri'ah, and reading their lore, namely the lore of one Frostarm Lawachurl named Ukko, which can be found there. Hilichurls appeared BEFORE the existence of Khaenri'ah, and the curse of wilderness is not related to them, it was from the very beginning created for those who renounced the gods, like Ukko who cursed the gods before his transformation, or non pure blood Khaenri'ah who renounced their gods for life in Khaenri'ah.
i heard a theory that some of the seelie race were turned into hilichurls during their downfall I can’t remember all the details tho
@@Silverware867I think it was about how the seelies were used as a soulnet to protect teyvat (build firmament) and there was a book and a comment from wolfy that explained that THE PRIMORDIAL ONE, A PROGENITOR GOD HAILING FROM BEYOND THE STARS, made the seelies decide to give up their mind or their body to put on a scale. The theory further stated that the seelies that gave up their mind lost their enlightenment/intelligence and the seelies that gave up their body became hillichurls/monsters instead. If this is the theory you mean then it is the one from Ashikai
Celestia did nothing wrong your honor!! They just wanted to maintain the world of their sherrished humans your honor! Khaenrih'a royalty rock the foundation of the world and let in the Abyss and cause all the chaos of the Abyss your honor
We are some of those few people who think that Celestia did what it needed to. You can tell that's why Dain isn't eager to revive the homeland either. Yes innocents were lost who should not have been but. That nation was messing with some bad bad mojo

Look clother seem to talk with travelar (aether)... But when say princess of khaeneriah.. Mean.. Lumine and irmin betrayed abyss order... Clother & veldyphonyr are now same party.. Against evil king irmin..
You know... What if what I'm about to say is true:
- The Abyss twin died during the cataclysm, that's why Nahida could only access their information up to a certain point
- Dain is carrying and using the twins remains to stop the curse from spreading, since those curses are abyssal in nature and elemental energy and phlogiston cancels out the abyss and since they are starts, they are the most purest source and medium for that type of energy
- The encounters we've had up to this point with the twin are just projections and memories of themselves used by the abyss to mimic them, like the most sophisticated version of the mimiflora and the whooperflower albedo.
- Dain feels like he failed her and wants to bring her back to life but he also wants to rescue his brother and change the world
Edit:
- Also, what if the destroyed celestial body beyond the firmament of natlan is the twins original world
Yeah that'll probably explain why irminsul doesn't consider the twin as descender, because they're just a copy made by the abyss, the specialty of the abyss
Great narration, also what is the song at 10:43 ~?? I was thinking I've heard it before
Ah yes that one is called Destined Parting. Glad you liked the music selection :D
Back to the point: I think it's best to wait for 5.3 .. perhaps there will be some lore bombs. ..i wonder who the nameless person actually is.
finally you covered this ❤
Hymn of the Gnostic Pearl go brrrr!!!🐍
1:34 "in her brief life" so what does this mean? the princess can't be that young because it's mentioned later about them having "too-long lives" or something or maybe there's rebirth happening? 🤔 is that why the abyss sibling is recorded in the irminsul?
Well back when he knew her at that age she was no where near 500 yet.
Both of them eventually lived just super long lives but at that point they could have been normal aged
In the Chinese text for the wind glider, it's mentioned that the brief life is related for how long she stayed in Khaenri'ah, the twins are probably way older than 500 yo.
I heard they're thousands years old.
So Hoyo couldnt even be bothered to color the MCs hair properly. Damn.
--------------------------------
So the pureblood obsessed Khaenri'ahns accepted a stranger as the heir who had no ties to Khaenri'ah or it's pure blood.
----------------------------
No, this answers more questions than it asks.

Omg thank you so much!!!
So they are giving the gliders to everyone, just letting Xbox have it early is what I heard…why does PS get exclusives but no one else does?
Probably simply because whenever Hoyo was originally negotiating with Playstation that's the agreement they came to but Hoyo is a bigger company now and Genshin is a much more widely known/popular game so they have more leverage to be like, "yeah, these are "exclusives" temporarily but we're gonna give them to all our other players after a wait, too".
Amazing video and analogy!
Also, just want to say that I have 2 codes for the Wings if Delicacies that I got from the Dodo collab.

Morax is God of Gold
Even He comment's that the traveler will continue to shine like GOLD in His memory. The God of gold calls the traveler GOLD ITSELF. Morax Knows the Traveler is far more spacial than Himself.
The BT cinematic gender doesn't change with your MC choice with means the characters on that cinematic can not be the traveler / sibling.
Btw, they removed the cinematic recently. I wander if its just because no one wants to watch it for the thousand time or if there is more to it.
Or the story was Irminsul-proofed to the point it doesn't match the real gender.
@@theunlikelygenshingamer
I also don't think the BP talks about them.
I had spine surgery on the 25th of October and am still recovering - my hand doesn't always obey me at the moment (the spine surgery was for fixing an issue that caused problems using my arm), and also my eyes were messed up by the general anesthesia (as well as the vice they had my head in for the surgery, that stabalized my spine).
So my sight is also not great at the moment - between that and my hand, I might have missed some typos!
So:
Thank you for reading that wall of text to us!
Even when I get the wings in 5.3 I'm not sure my sight ir my hand will be better.
Waiting to go to the eye doctor till my spine surgeon clears me.
As it is in having a bit of a time with reading unvoiced text that flashes up at the bottom of the screen when world quest stuff starts showing up from Paimon while I'm moving along. But I'm still trying, lol.
Anyway, again:
Thanks for reading this out for us .

@ oh okay thanks, I knew everyone would get it but wasn’t sure when/how
First of all, what is the name of the track that plays at 0:10?
