  • Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Thursday he expected NATO members to send Kyiv the weapons it needs but insisted they had to act quickly before Russia launches another major offensive. "Either you help us now and I'm speaking about days, not weeks, or your help will come too late," Kuleba said after meeting NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.

    The diference here is that Russia has an unlimited suply of weapons, similar to u.s., Ukraine doesnt, they rely on others generosity. this is the bigest concern

    Very well said/analysis from Minister Kuleba about the West.
    Which side are you with and supporting-Ukraine or Russia?
    I hope the West is brave enough by now to make a firm choice-and the choice should be clear and show the Ukraine we are all in 100% with them.

    How sad it is to see how Ukrainian people have been killed and left on the streets, on the side walk, in rumbles and trenches. It pierce my heart. One cannot imagine something like this would be happening. I bet you if Moscow feel the power of the rest of the world, I feel there will be change.

    It is impressive to hear Kuleba speak so directly and clearly explain Ukraine's problems with the double speak of Nato and the EU. Contrast this with VDL's meaningless "first Step in becoming part of European family" and handing President Zelensky an envelope like a primary student receiving an award at assembly. Really admire the Ukrainians direct and clear way of stating the situation as it is.

    So what if a Ukrainian soldier shot a captured Russian soldier... Given the situation, its not a big deal. On the other hand, Russian soldiers killing innocents in the 1000s and pets and w/e and people are complaining one incident of one captured Russian soldier being killed... Sounds like Russia wants their cake and eating it too. I dont blame any Ukrainian soldier that executes a Russian soldier that showed no remorse killing a civilian and i can bet this one did just that and prob laughed at the ukrainian soldier.

    I truelly don't understand the distinction they make between deffensive and offensive weapon. They are just weapons. It is like saying that butcher knife and kitchen knife don't serve for the same purpose. Butcher knife may be bigger and sharper but as to cutting meat, they both do the same thing. I remember Zelenskyy said "if you can't give us those weapon, then sell them to us". Just think about it, those weapons are soviet weapons. After this war, i don't think russia will continue to provide western countries with parts to service those weapons. They will go to junkyard anyway.

    • @feurigerStern
      @feurigerStern 2 роки тому +1

      Knives differ in purpose. Have you ever tried cutting a slice from a loaf of bread with a butcher knife? You need a serrated edge.
      A "defensive weapon" generally has a poor trigger pull, (accuracy not an issue) sights that are at *best suited for close range* a magazine that is not easily removed, a poor to loosely constructed weapon for function and not accuracy. Also called a "Last ditch weapon". Meaning when you are down to that pistol, you are essentially dead. An example would be a handgun.
      "Offensive weapon", takes the armed man to the enemy in force, for close or far range. It is a tactical weapon of precision. It has attributes that allow it to be serviceable under various conditions. (Criteria based) It employs a different tactic of employment, must have a proper grip, balance, function, accuracy, sights, hammer, slide stop, trigger and pull; and be *accurate to the maximum effective range* An example is a javelin missile

    • @vietanhtran3363
      @vietanhtran3363 2 роки тому

      @@dsddala467 yeah. The key word is "anti". You bring your tanks and aircrafts to someone's house, they have the right to ask for weapons to defend themselves.

    • @evaburnz

      @@vietanhtran3363 @dsd Dala is clarifying the distinction between defensive and offensive weaponry for you, with regard to your original comment.
      To further clarify, for example, anti-tank weapons are designed with the purpose of DEFENDING against the advances of an attacking tank, which is likely attacking as a member of an offensive on behalf of the aggressor.

    What I would do is something very diffrent. Creating a open volontear group that is trained with our heavy weaponds system then send them with those weaponds. It would be a fast track to get those weaponds operational in ukraine. I think there are enough tank crews and aa missle operators that might volontear for this.

    The choice is not just Ukraine vs. Russia, it's also Peace vs. War and not enough is doing to descalate, create conditions for a peaceful exit, even trying to attend some of Russia's demands to leave Putin a way out into the war. There must be an intelligent exit to the war.

    There will be a time when every country will have to pick sides. This is wrong on all levels. It is no longer appropriate to do business with Russia and whatever country turns a blind eye we should think carefully if we the civilized nations should support them financially. For many years our western money have gone to countries who critizes and belittle our great nations. It's time to wake up and withdraw Humanitarian aid to countries who do not appreciate it.
