Here’s a thing, According to IMDb: this episode used to be the first highest rated episode of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, this episode clashes “Forge Of Creation” which is now the first highest rated episode that used to be second which keeps being the first and second one back in fourth
Quite a refreshing episode of Ben 10 where we actually see one of the main character's daily routine aside from saving the world and the struggles that comes with it. I honestly wish they could have done more episodes like this
I mean they didn't need Gwen's help. Ben could have done it himself if he used Way Big.
About Ben not being at school - during the episode Kevin says that teachers allow Ben to leave school when something bad is happening.
Fun fact: that composition Emily is playing is "Fantaisie-Impromptu" by Chopin.
I like the reveal that the outfit that Gwen wears is actually a school uniform, every so often there's a character clothing question that does come up as to why they're wearing the same outfit all the time. Also, this reminds me of one of those Spectacular Spider-Man episodes, in which music was heavily featured to tell aa story in that episode
It's kinda odd tho for Gwen to simply wear her school uniform whenever she saves the world. I would think that she would have to buy a lot of school uniforms every time they got battle damaged as shown throughout Ultimate Alien
I am pretty sure that's not her school uniform. Many students worn their uniforms in this episode and they look different.
Such an underrated episode. It's nice to see Gwen's point of view at this stage of her life. She's stretching herself thin a bit, but she never complains or shows it

It perfectly shows how diverse Ben 10 can be.
Late UAF can be rough at times, but there are gems here and there that I cannot wait for you to watch.
Gwen is an over-achiever and she admits that herself. People might not enjoy characters like her because without an episode like this they might be deemed a boring, nice-smart character, a cookie cutter character of sorts. This episode is good because it showcases the struggles and effort it takes to just... be Gwen.
Also, funny thing, Gwen is pretty similar to another green-eyed redhead psychic: Jean from X-Men Evolutions (I know Gwen isn't technically using psychic powers, but they're very similar)
Both Ben and Gwen have a life balance between hero time and normal life
Ben never had a normal life outside the Omnitrix.

This is pretty much a day in the life of Gwen and yes her main attire is her school uniform. There are only 2 schools in Bellwood and Ben gets to go off campus which in my opinion is a bad decision. Sadly the charm Gwen gave Kevin was never used and never found. Fun fact Ultimate Cannonbolt wasn’t meant to appear in the storyboard was going Goop after Cannonbolt first transformation then he was going to get blasted by Animo ray but Gwen saved him. Then Ben goes Cannonbolt again and this time the frog that Animo was on that took out Cannonbolt Ben then Ben goes Humungousaur and he was going to be the one who beat Animo and his Mutant frog.
I love how (semi) slice of life this episode is I wish we got more episodes like this
I love these types of episodes. it really helps with world building in a show that becomes better with it

Out of the main trio, Gwen is kind of the least interesting. Ben is the main character possessing the Omnitrix and everything, Kevin is a reformed villain dealing with the struggles of his past, but Gwen? She's just Ben's cousin who can do magic. So it was nice to get some insight into her in this episode.
It’s funny because Dr. Animo was more of a clown in the classic series

I still question why they didn't bring back Ken Gwen's brother for this particular episode.
I love episodes that focus on characters other than Ben, i mean dont get me wrong i want ben 10 cus hes Ben 10 but i dont mind episodes on others, i also wouldn't mind a gwen 10, max, or one of the villains having a spin off show either.

I disagree with your critique of the episode that we should have seen more of the day to day of other characters because the others canonically don't do much.
Ben doesn't go to school any more because he's a celebrity, hero so the school is fine with him not going there.
Kevin just works on his car and plumber tech in his downtime.
