I've been a toy collector for quite some time, but only recently have I started getting into customs and restoration, so I'm learning a lot every day. These videos have been a big help and inspiration! I just replaced the leg band in a Battle Armor Skeletor I've had in a drawer since the mid 90s, and I hope to repair the gimmick at a later date once I've worked up the courage. Thanks for all you do!
Great restoration there Dave on some great classic figures, wish I could find an Action Force haul in a charity shop! I have been looking, maybe one day. I have, however, found a webshop that has a "Beaterbox" and I've managed to pick up some great bargains on vintage Star Wars and GI Joe that just needed a bit of love a care. Thanks for the tips and inspiration, boil and pop, now that's a tip worth remembering!
Great tip about the baby powder. Action Force figures having those rubbery limbs tends to increase the chance of tacky paint I've noticed. This will help me out as I have some I'm painting too.
I can see why a child would have done that. I did it myself many times. But for this video and my collection I wanted them to look as close to original as I can get.
Had a few of these and other groups as a kid love them so like action man especially the Baron the red shadows are cool I think was a usa version of the truck transport I had a tank that was battery operated
Great video! I grew up with GI Joe, and now I collect the '82-'94 A Real American Hero toy line. Being an American, I never knew Action Force existed until I started collecting GI Joe. Now, I'm fascinated by Action Force. It's like an alternate universe! I really need to pick up a few Action Force toys for my Joe collection.
I love these classic Action Force figs even though I grew up with GI Joe. The restorations turned out excellently! Also, thanks for the baby powder tip😃👍
Love me some action force , nice to see them all looking sharp, quick question, why not use a small brush to paint the eyes,?you would get far more control
Thank you for all of the amazing ideas and suggestions regarding vintage toy restoration. I did have a quick question if you don’t mind… I have some inspector Gadget 1983 Bandai vinyl figures which are missing paint. Any suggestions as to what paint would work best on the figures and which colours would best match. First time vintage toy restorer. I was hoping to get it right the first time without spending hundreds of dollars on new supplies. Thank you in advance and once again thank you for the amazing videos.
Hi, I would suggest watching more of my videos as I cover all sorts of repairs and topics. I don't know the figures you have so can't give specific colours. But the paint type I use in this video will most likely be good ones to use. Cheers
I keep meaning to ask but what is the name of the track used during the cleaning segment (in the sink with soap and water) of this video? It's been a mainstay of the channel for years and I'd really like to know because it's not one of the 4 tracks credited in the description.
I've looked it up as well before and never found anything to suggest it causes issues unless you have sensitive skin. But yes, definitely don't drink it!
Love seeing the master at work. Awesome! PS I would've given the baldy different colour hair, just as a variant (but I know you are restoring rather than customising).
Wish I could come across the Troop Carrier in a charity shop for tenner, I'd be all over it. Something I really wanted as a child but never had.
Such a great find & my favorite toy line.
Nice work they look amazing well done 👍.

What a fantastic find, and thise figures turned out great. That's a beautiful collection.
Thank you kindly
Totally awesomeness of a respectful restoration video. Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😀 👍 ❤️ 🇬🇧🇨🇦♥️💯💯💯💯
that was a lovely relaxing half hour, watching that. i usually watch martys matchbox restorations etc, nice change :)
Glad you enjoyed it
I remember the truck moulded in tan, it was in the GI Joe comic too. So people have colour options.

Love this video. Thanks for uploading it Dave.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love action force that is a great find

A hot soapy water clean would never be the same without its theme music. That's a very nice haul and another great video. Happy weekend!
I kind of liked the silver paint, but I can understand wanting them to be as close to how they originally looked as possible

I really wish they were available in the states.

Another fantastic Action Force restoration video, from Toy Polloi.
You need a G.I.JOE version of youself of your animated counterpart, Chewbacca bandolier figure carrier and all. :)
Cool video! I like the action force line more than g.i. Joe for some reason

You need a Roboskull ;)
Bloody red is best red of that brand
Nice video Dave
Thanks 👍
YES! LOOK at those figures!!
Great score! :)
Great job on the restoration
Thanks for watching

My pleasure!
Hey Dave
This was an excellent video and all are back on duty.
Happy Weekend to you and MrsTP
Take care
Thanks 👍
Great video as always, those figures look so good again 👍
Love me some action force , nice to see them all looking sharp, quick question, why not use a small brush to paint the eyes,?you would get far more control
I find a pin gives me most control, that's why I use it.
I do find it funny how the toy company used the same vehicle for both GI Joe and Action Man
Keeps costs down and most kids won't know. Very sensible and they still do it today.

I would love to get some Action Force figures but, on the rare occasion I find them at a toy show in the US, they are very expensive.
There are plenty of US toys I have the same problem with.
Zed Force; do they fight zombies? 🧟♂️
Awesome job, Dave! They all look spruced up and ready for action!
Thanks 👍
I’m so excited for this! I’ve been getting into Action Force because of your videos and have been fixing and customizing some myself!
Great to hear!

It's the Toy Polloi theme, written specifically for the channel. Cheers
How easy are loose action force figures to find in the UK?
Very.
Isn’t brake fluid toxic? Are you sure it’s safe handling it without protection?
I make sure to wash my hands well afterwards and am only handling a small amount for a very short time. Cheers
@@toypolloi I looked it up because I was curious. It doesn't seem like it's all that bad unless you drink it, so don't drink any.
I've looked it up as well before and never found anything to suggest it causes issues unless you have sensitive skin. But yes, definitely don't drink it!

Does anyone else “hear” NIRVANA in the Music?
£10 ?!?!? 😮😲😮😲😮😲
Yep. Charity shop find. It's very beaten up and needs a lot of work. Will be a really fun project.
@@toypolloi - Jammy!!! I'll look forward to watching your progress!
Should of left the bald fella/ Kind of liked him
Love watching your videos, but the "j" in vallejo is silent. It should be pronounced like "valle - ho" or "valle - o".
