awesome video! wondering how you might go about animating its growth? I'd love to figure out how to animate the leave growth and the vine creep so that one influences the other and the leaves grow as the ivy reaches the points! if you have any idea i'd love to hear!
Thanks!! Hmm good question. I'd animate the trim factor of the curves. Set the main curve trim animation up and link the 2nd and 3rd branch curve trims to that one. You'll have to capture it as an attribute from the main curve and re-use it on the second and third I guess. You'll also have to capture the point position or index of the second and third branch curves so you can offset the animations depending on how for along the 2nd and 3rd branch curves are on the main curve. Then use that as a comparison or perhaps even switch to start the curve growth. In theory 😂
