I like what Tasha said! This will definitely increase productivity and we are more able to get things done faster because of the updates in technology. This can bring ease to the overworked and frustrated society, and may even help traffic go down. This could also decrease break-ins if people are home more often.
Yes
Hey guys!!! Missed seeing your videos! I love the idea of 32 hour week. Folks are TIRED!!!! Stressed and exhausted. I’m all for a reduced work week 🌸
Yes as the old saying goes, "Over-worked and under paid lol
Would this be a 32-hour work week Monday through Thursday, or does the employer choose which days? How does this work for doctors, nurses, airline pilots, police officers and general first responders, etc.? Seems like this could work, in theory, for some occupations. There are countries such as Portugal that have businesses open for half-days, etc. and the overall quality of life is better; people are happier. Even if hourly workers work 32 hours, they could be paid more as if they worked 40. If we're being honest, no one actually works a full 8-hour day when you factor in co-worker distractions, bathroom breaks, general breaks to stretch and move around, lunch, etc. People tend to be more productive when they have less mental stress and opportunities to recharge.
That is a great question but I would think it would be for general office workers but you really brought up a good point about doctors, nurses, etc. This is why to be honest, I really don't think that this will ever get passed.
