Crazy to think he’s only gained about 30k in a year, this mans a 3 time worlds winner, the production quality, music and vibe of every single video is insane and this man deserves more recognition
Bro your technique is wonderful. I used the walk out, glute squeeze to remove the weight. No back pain even with weight greater than 405 lbs for reps. The rep work used to kill my back. From an old man. Thank you!!!!
Russ man. You’re one of my powerlifting idol’s. Im a football player and if i dont play college football im heading to the powerlifting route. I aspire to be like you one day. Ill be lifting in the 93kg class.
This video was greatly appreciated man! May 29th will mark 3 years since I start lifting consistently and my first meet was scheduled for August. Due to this covid situation, I’ll probably do a meet in December instead and it’ll not only be my first meet but first meet with the UNT Powerlifting Team which I transferred schools to join. Excited to do it and look back years later. Great video!
This is awesome Russ! Not many people preach on the process but there is no such thing as an overnight success! You’re doing great things now but even better things are still to come! Keep moving forward #GetBetterToday
Geez, I never knew Russel lifted raw like that. I didn't wear a belt until I got to 315lbs on the squat, he's doing over 500lbs and decided it wasn't time.
I’m 15 a school power lifter in ninth grade I brought all my lifts up 150 pounds in five months and I wouldn’t have been able to do that if I wasn’t watching your videos thank you man
Russ you are one of my inspirations to start a UA-cam channel and I am currently editing a video for my first ever UA-cam video. I want to say thank you and this video really gave me confidence to just do it.
Can you do a Q&A video sometime? And if you do just wondering when will you ever record with Terron Beckham again? You seemed to have a lot of fun when you workout with him.
your rate of progress is ridiculous, i am 21 right now and am around a 600kg total weighing 82kg on a normal day, wanting to start competing in powerlifting but i have already been training for 7 years, so i just hope my ceiling is still a long way to go
Damn dude, gotta bite your tongue off doing that. And yeah, I thought I had a narrow bench grip. Mine is about the same as your's was but I'm only 5' 6". Interesting video though, I wan't to do a competition at some point as well but it's gonna be awhile before I feel strong enough to compete against some serious powerlifters. I need to eat more too so I can gain strength faster. Just got done losing 75lbs and while I am fairly strong for being 150lbs I am not at the point where I could be very competitive, especially at deadlift.
It's always gonna be like that, in 4 years you're gonna review some of your videos and say the same things about being awkward. Which just means you moved forward and that's good!
Crazy to think he’s only gained about 30k in a year, this mans a 3 time worlds winner, the production quality, music and vibe of every single video is insane and this man deserves more recognition
That's what I'm saying. I just found his channel and I'm wicked about the amount of views he gets. Dudes a 3x national champ

Damn that camera angle in the video made Russ’ hairline look like it’s socially distancing from his face
Im fkn dead lmfao!
😱😂🤣😭😩🤧
Idk that it's the angle dude. There's a reason why he's always wearing hats and bandanas. Balding is tough

Bruh, if you didn’t get that squat up those spotters weren’t moving anything
1:05 thats why i love russel, he is so chill he cracks up at himself LOL
Russ never fails to motivate me this was crazy inspirational. Like hes starting his gym and has his own amazing merch. The guy is just incredible.
I remember watching this man 5 years ago. It’s been so cool watching you this whole time. Never settle Russ 🤘🏼
Russ man. You’re one of my powerlifting idol’s. Im a football player and if i dont play college football im heading to the powerlifting route. I aspire to be like you one day. Ill be lifting in the 93kg class.

This is awesome Russ! Not many people preach on the process but there is no such thing as an overnight success! You’re doing great things now but even better things are still to come! Keep moving forward #GetBetterToday

Awesome video. Love seeing the improvements you went through.
Great vlog as always take care bro and stay safe from the coronavirus..
This is definitely one of the cooler videos I have seen.
Russ you are one of my inspirations to start a UA-cam channel and I am currently editing a video for my first ever UA-cam video. I want to say thank you and this video really gave me confidence to just do it.
Title should of been: “Reaction of me reacting to my first power lift meet reaction”
Big boss in the office! Cold 🥶
Gotta bring back the custom vans, been watching you for a min, the Jordan tongue 😜 😂
Can you do a Q&A video sometime? And if you do just wondering when will you ever record with Terron Beckham again? You seemed to have a lot of fun when you workout with him.
this was around when I started watch russ and it motivated me to start competing in powerlifting aswell
Yo bro post another transformation video the last one was three years ago and I would really want to see the progress!
I’m dying when he said he thought belts, wrist wraps, and knee sleeves were for pussies🤣🤣😅
Damn, your quads were big even back then. You deserve your success.
Why Russ look like the coach of the team lmao, he looks like the senior that helps out with the middle school team
Bruh the begging had me dead😂, just cause how much you were laughing

your rate of progress is ridiculous, i am 21 right now and am around a 600kg total weighing 82kg on a normal day, wanting to start competing in powerlifting

Just brute strength!!! Corrupted strength!!! Someone suggested you recap ur bodybuilding show too. #gbt
Damn dude, gotta bite your tongue off doing that. And yeah, I thought I had a narrow bench grip. Mine is about the same as your's was but I'm only 5' 6".
