Maybe he should play Eriksen more. He balances the team and contributes to a better distribution. Bruno and Eriksen are the best Passers of the ball in United and will create chances for mainoo and the two wing backs and højlund.
Your point about Eriksen is absolutely correct. He brings United so much calmness and quality on the ball and can thread passes to create. His assist for Amad against the Saints was exquisite.
But, don’t you think his physical abilities might problems for United, especially when out of possession?
Not really. With Bruno and two wing backs running their socks off and a solid back three Eriksen does enough. He may not be tackling left and right but he cuts off passing lines and uses his experience. Often i find Bruno to be to hectic and erratic spreading chaos in the United team. He needs someone to create balance. That person can be Eriksen.
What’s your thoughts regarding Arteta relying a lot on wide progression compared to central progression?
That’s something that I often talked about on X.
It’s efficient don’t get me wrong, but it feels like it’s the only thing Arsenal miss, especially when in the final third.

@ mainly to create set pieces scenarios from open play. But also due to the lack of players who can consistently receive inside the block. So wide progression becomes safer against transitions.
