The Providence administrators are worried if there are no nurses then there are no patients to overcharge and gouge to pay their own high salaries

If the Hospital CEO takes it seriously THEN staff the hospital for safety not dollars!! I am an RN and we have battled this for years. Just because a law is passed doesnt mean there isnt a loop hole for profits. These are human beings and deserve safe staffing!!

It is called leverage. Businesses are not used to dealing with organized workers, especially nurses, who have the intelligence, courage, and strength to stand up for the quality of care they provide for the patients, as well as for their own quality of life for themselves and for their families. I support the striking nurses one hundred percent.
It will be a terrible tragedy if workers in every other field don't follow the example of the striking nurses. Nurses on strike lead the way!
Last summer, railroad workers were wrongly denied the opportunity to go out on strike. For at least 50 years, Wall Street interests have dominated American political and economic life, perhaps it is too much to hope for, but I hope the striking nurses begin an avalanche of strikes and labor organizing all across the United States. Solidarity!

I like how most of the nurses are overweight… I thought they were in healthcare promoting health? Hmmm somethings fishy here. And if it’s business, as usual, then why do we did we even need you people? We’ll just use the fill in’s. All you want is more money every time it’s never about the patients. It’s always about your pocketbook. I wish they would fire all of you.
