Only a question: What's the function of the little magnet on the black metallic articulation cover? I think that the square protuberance on that piece side turns on the camera when you rotate the LCD and it releases the small switch on the "nationalist" board.
Showing your mistakes is as helpful as showing how to do it right ... I applaud you for not editing out the mistakes :)
Do you know with the adapter I use to connect the separate hd to the notebook to save the videos? The camera spoils, but the hd is whole.

The magnet must be for flipping the lcd image upside down when the LCD is turned 180 degrees.
You're correct. I tested taking the magnet off, rotating the LCD and then returning it to place. Thank you.
