Hard Chords Backing Track!

This is the backing for the "Adult Chords" video I recently uploaded. I like to write progressions that force me to tackle what I think are problem areas in my playing. With this one, I wanted to include some chords that I think are difficult to outline in a melodic way: Maj7#5, Maj7#5#9, and Dim-maj7 (ex: D/Eb would be Ebdim-maj7). I'm not a big chord-scale guy, so when I'm playing over changes like this, I'm first trying to play what I hear- which often means making more sense out of the changes. A good example would be playing D altered dominant stuff over an Ebdim-maj7 chord or F# altered dom stuff over Dmaj7#5... blah blah blah. If that's not giving me the sound I want, I might check out some chord scale relationships, but that's the absolute last resort for me because it feels too technical. Btw the form is just A-B.
