Watching these people cook indian dishes has made me realise how bad Italians must feel when someone adds chocolate to a pizza
True
Well maybe when you're under pressure?
😅
🤣
who does pizza and choco
I like how stressed she is cooking but not sweating at all. What superpower 😂
They are applied with sweat resistant makeup

"Kachumbar" literally means 'smashed/broken down'. And you have a half of tomato in it.
And she said it traditional 🙄
nvm even i am laughing at that xD
maybe she didnt have enough time.
I live in the North Kerala and we call raita as Kachumbar here.
Namaaaesteyyy,,, Aaeeetss traditional Indian 🤣🤣🤣🤣
She literally served salad 🥗 in the name of kachumber. As an Indian, I disapprove it. 😂
Salad ko gujrati language me kachumber hi bolte h madam...I'm from Gujarat 😊😊😊
0:16 to cook a curry in an hour is not ambitious at all when you know what you're doing
Bruhh i can cook that in half an hour
Only a non Indian would say this thing. For Indian's anything could be cooked in 20-25 minutes except for few things that usually require longer time to cook.
That’s not curry
@@Nandan_Singh. so tru
@@rishavpatel2164 ik I'm just replying to what that's lady said about making curry
Arrays of spices? Explosion of flavour? Complex ingredients? Bruh my mom can make stuff like this half asleep, may not look all that presentable, but tasty it is
aye, mom cooks better meals than most chefs.
That's a very ignorant point of view. Yes our mums can cook up dishes like these because that's what they have been doing daily for many years. Now if an Indian person attempts to cook a dish from another cuisine for example Italian, we would spend a long time making it and thinking we made a complex and fancy dish but an Italian would do it in fraction of the time and make it way better than we could. So try to look at things from not a 1 dimensional point of view and look for deeper reasons behind things.
Her plating and pairing is a goal for any culture cuisine 🤩
I'm happy with the fact that they are making 'kachumber'. I hail from a small village in India where this is made as a side dish for lunch. 😍😋
Lucky you.
What's the village ?
@@Onlinesully same
I am sorry buddy but if that's what's made in your village then you have never had kachumbar
@@riturajsinghbais well, for once I did put the word Kachumber in apostrophes and nowhere did I insinuate that we made this same Kachumber. 😆
@@Onlinesully Shiruru, Udupi, Karnataka 😉
I have always wondered, "Who carries the third plate?"
UK : so we ruled them for 300 years but we still can't replicate them
200
Edit :200 years
LoL, contestant makes basic Indian dishes and judges goes crazy. 😂😂
I like how she said karahi 😂
yep
Every women in indian household is a master chef a simple gobi sabzi with chapati will taste amazing
Magaz is musk melon seeds toasted they are crisp they add flavour as they have thin shell when dried
Her presentation skills are 10/10. Don't know how the dishes taste but they look very appetising.
Kachumbar is actually more finely chopped
Is it me or everything feels very dull? The music, the set, the judges. Intense music plays when serving food? Man just stands and comments on her cooking? What.
If that's kachumbar then I am david Beckham.
PS - Kachumbar is made of shredded veggies.
She is so polite..
This looks so dull to watch- masterchef canada is way better sorry
crescntt fr and master chef usa
stop bein racist...thats offensive...😆😂

That's like very basic Indian dishes and judges are like wow
This isn't kuchambar, it means mashed - that's just a salad.
Any Indians here ...
Yeh
Not me.
But my best friends in London are all Indian.
Along with my favorite restaurants.
And I was lucky enough to eat at their parents house 20 years ago, and to be invited to 2 weddings.
I also worked in Bangalore regularly and loved staying there.
I could go on all day about the Indian restaurants in London that I really loved, and on the curry mile in Manchester.

Wow!! chicken karahi here🤩🤩🤩
Damn ! Curry is Indian food but “”NOT EVERY INDIAN FOOD IS CURRY “” ! West just generalise things😡
Chill karo
@@friedsugar2701 nope no more of chill. It's time for chilly
That rice looks so sad omg. Imagine giving such a tiny portion of Rice with that big bowl of Chicken. So disappointing.
It's because this is a competition & they want to eat less.
@@BlackHawkTejas the servings should be proportionate is what I'm saying. It is bad plating when one portion size is big compared to the other one.
Exactly that's like 2 spoons of rice
Always Indian food is ossum specially curries
Let me shatter the devastating as well as demonic myth running inside your brain cells. There is nothing called Indian Food and your so called ' mythical ' "Indian" food, max 15% curry and Rest not. So, may be a bit couple of research on " INDIA's Food " rather than " Indian ", will educate you further. 🤣🤣🤣
that lady sure can cook
Eating India food with fork itself biggest blunder.
🤣🤣🤣
I thought of comparing the reviews/comments of Jugdes and guests with Mobile phone cameras..
More technically sound cameras(of a phone ofcourse) turned to be less likely win best viewer's choice camera phone award on MKBHD..🤣
stunning...
You are in MASTERCHEF and calling every indian maincourse CURRY! Oh cmon! Raise your standards masterchef!
Why MasterChef chef UK have British test testers for indian food challenge probably they are affraid of NEGATIVE/ brutal reviews
Indian dish is everything about spices
Same dish teast different In each different places

The real question here is... 3:36 How did she carry only 2 plates but when she left there are 3 plates on the table?!!
Edits, ofcourse. :) Makes it easier for us viewers to stay in the loop.
Ok, I'll show myself out now.
When you say chicken "kadhai"
You don't quite literally serve it in a kadhai
Well you do that's why it's called kadhai
It's called kadhai because it's served in small kadhai in restaurants...now people r making it at home so they have forgotten why the name was such
Dishes earlier were named after the Utensil they got cooked in...like kadhai chicken or Tawa pulao or handi paneer etc.
She didn't serve in an Actual kadhai but was a miniature serving the purpose of serving bowl.🙄
That kind of serving bowl was used just to go by the name of the dish..
@@su_nature now a days everything in restaurants is served in a small kadhai, just to make it look exotic.
Best judges ever ...
How many of u like indian food
I love pulao chicken curry 😊 yum
Can someone please tell them that a kachumber is supposed to be diced that’s the whole point of it🤦♀️............and we’ve learned from flying spatulas coming at us that you don’t eat out of the pan, you take it out and taste it🥺
The eaters and the chefs disagree on everything! Not their restaurant clientele I guess!
As always, the original MasterChef (, MasterChef UK) is best among the whole franchise.
About time people especially Americans understand Indian food. It sickening decades after decades eggs and bread Americans feel they create that
What if they land up on Mumbai's Mohammed Ali road?
Title has Indian
All Indians: '*who has summoned us from our slumber*"
that is not pulao that is zeera rice
Master Chef India
Noone except my Mom can make the best Chicken karahi in the world!!
Cap
I beg to differ
I love how there's hardly any rice on the plate....so Indian...
You never serve kadhai with rice . It’s with roti or naan.
First I thought that was a tomato salad but when they said that's kachumbar i lost my mind 😑
It's not our kachumber ..it's salad
As an Indian, she serves salad while changing the name ?!
What did he just said? Cojumber?
One question to the Indian audience as an indian is it me or everyone else finds these shows recipe different then the Indian recipe. Doesn't it feels like the judge also doesn't know what the original taste of the dish
Yeah so many Indian Judges judging a INDIAN dish...
Their curry look like Sabzi(Bhaji) more then curry.
🤣🤣🤣
Wait a minute...you got white chefs judging indian food wtf
its ok
in indian masterchef too indians judges judge western dishes
👍
WHERE IS THE ROTI ?

Full fledged salad in the name of kachumbar salad. 😂
On what part of India, that dessert was Indian? 😂😂
🤣🤣
what is karahi?
Karahi is actually the vessel in which chicken is served here.. we cook food in big karahis, but these days people have started serving food in these small karahis, and they call the dish as "karahi" like chicken karahi or karahi paneer !
@People who Use youtube yes obviously, how big karahi u need to cook depends on the number of people for whom you have to cook
BUT, the karahi shape utensil in which they serve is NOT the actual karahi in which they cook, but its a replica of the karahi, just to serve .. so dish is cooked in a big karahi and served in a small serving karahi here
Kochhambar or kuchambar is a tulu word. Same is called as kosambari in Kannada.
But do we make kosambari when we make chicken meal?
Mmm
Kachumber 🤔 we call it koshimbir in marathi. 😂
Food is extremely subjective IMO

Just add few complex terms to define a reciepe in few words(kinda flex abt ur english vocab) 😂 and yupee... Here's your new dish..
Man why do they all call every Indian dish, a CURRY? Its simply not and even on the menu it says Chicken Karahi. Its like they don't even wanna learn, such a shame.
UK: luxury food.
India : fed up of daily eating it. Won't eat it today.
