I would just like to say that it was *INDEED A PLEASURE* to see a gentleman who knew his dining etiquette; how to hold and use a knife and fork; how to just break his bread and butter it the correct way rather than stabbing the roll with a knife then opening up the roll like most people do and than butter the hell out of it. It was indeed a pleasure to see the proper use of a table setting. BRAVO mate!

well, I am not convinced about Etihad 1st class product: the service at the airport is second class and the amenities in the bathroom are poor: if you sell a first class product it should be first class from scratch on!
Yea, hope I will get a chance to fly from their harbor in Abu Dhabi, I’m pretty sure there will be a first class lounge. But I guess the bathroom will be the same and there won’t be shower space. 😩
No caviar eating spoon/fork to enhance the caviary flavor?
There was the plastic spoon. Not sure if that can enhance the flavor 🥲

Nice flight review, the inflight service looks good, the backward seat looks weird. Flying backward for fourteen hours is strange.
Haha, yes, sitting backwards. The good thing is the privacy is good so I am not facing anyone. 😅
It's actually not so strange as the aircraft naturally tilts slightly upwards in cruise. So your head is a tiny bit higher than your feet this way - which is how it should be.
the black decor in the lavatory is dark and unappealing. i recall flying on the a380 in business from abu dhabi- sydney and getting up in the middle of the night, while dark, entering the lavatory, into more darkness. nice to see fa's actually speaking to you; on my flights they were robotic and uninviting.
Definitely, and it doesn’t feel like a first class bathroom ☹️. And yes , the flight attendants were very nice and friendly. 🙂

So lets get this strait, !st class? Shared lounge (DOH) Food looked stale. Boarding seemed less than expected. Cabin looked like a cell, very drab. Then the on board service, by the lounge caterer ? We will not mention the "Champagne". No on board bar, no inflight shower. Then arrival you had to get your own taxi??? No chauffeured car awaiting? Cheap Etihad, will stick with Emirate's, Thanks for showing us.
Yea, the shared lounge at the Washington D.C airport was really bad, I was so disappointed with the lounge. Probably should fly from their harbor in Abu Dhabi, I think there is dedicated first class lounge. Cabin was not that bad , at least there was a door. Qatar airways first class does not even have a door (you can check my other video on Qatar first class). I don’t know much about wine, are those wines not good enough for first class 😉? Emirates 777 first class is definitely better.
I agree. The lounge and the chauffeur are fully part of the experience. I did not feel any exclusivity here. I hope you did not pay full price …
