Holy Terra. The content alone was brilliant, but mate... that VOICE. That reptilian, serpentine, fawning yet smug, bureaucrat-slash-manipulator tone... sounded like the damned soul of a hedge fund manager from Bolton!

Love the video, just wish that my favorite inquisitorial faction, the Oblationists. The Oblationists believe that to utilize the powers and artifacts of chaos and the warp is to be inevitably damned. They also believe that the most power weapon against chaos is chaos itself.
An Oblationist will subject themselves to the taint of chaos for the sake of power, whether this be rituals, demonic pacts, daemon weapons, or what have you, then they will be closely watched by their fellow Oblationists, with their willing cooperation, for when they inevitably fall to the corruption in their souls so that they may be struck down.
They are essentially radical martyrs of a sort.
Love your videos, especially the book readings. I dont play the table top but I love the lore and you amongst a few others fill my day with it. Thanks and subscribed

The Ordo Xenos and Ordo Malleus are needed and use alot of their power to do the Emperors holy work. They have some asshats but most of those reside within the Ordo Hereticus. Just see Vraks for further proof

I think the Radicals come closest to being reasonable. If only they limited their methods to at least not trying to use Chaos. Xenos tech and allies are one thing, but at least they don’t try to constantly corrupt and enslave your soul.

Great job--very imaginative presentation of the information! The visuals show an Inquisitor in terminator armor. I always wondered how effective terminator armor would be for the non-Astartes, as only Astartes have the black carapace. Without the black carapace, I would assume that the terminator armor would be even more ungainly and ponderous to use, possibly to the extent that using the armor would be more of a detriment than a benefit. I'd be curious to hear your and other viewers' thoughts on this as well.
David K I’m not a fan of the Terminator Armor, however I’d rock it if they didn’t make me wear my helmet.
ahh i dont think its comparable to astartes armour, its more super powerful (for a human) armour in my mind
@AB Prince the Terminator Armor is just way to Bulky, I’m will to be the power armor the inquisitors wear is more akin to the Sisters of Battle or the Adeptus - who am I kidding I can’t spell soreitus and I am way to lazy at 4 am to look it up.
Given their status, I would surmise that certain inquisitors have (doubtless rare and expensive) biotech and cybernetic enhancements like those applied in the time of the Great Crusade to certain highly favoured individuals who were too old to become Astartes - e.g. Kor Phaeron, the 'false Astartes' of the Word Bearers.
The black carapace allows Astares armor to be worn as a second skin. This fusion of the armor and Astares is the highest level of interface between man and machine. Exactly how a non-astares and the armor interface is done may not be known, but you can be assured that the inquisition has access to technology not available to any other arm of the Imperium.
