With the mossy oak duck blind gun. I don’t understand why they sand blasted the receiver but not the barrel. They painted over the factory dip and then added their dip over that. There’s no way that paint is going to stick to the factory dip.
@@MojobuckProductions .pardon my ignorance, but I don't know how any dip job would hold up to heat. ie......barrel heat from many consecutive rounds fired.
No worries man ! And I would say it would be just fine from my experience, now any coating would prob fail under extreme conditions like belt fed machine gun fire, but you should be just fine 👍🏻
Chris, just so you know I have a benelli that I used automotive vinyl wrap on the barrel only. Made it look like real carbon fiber. I can easily shot 200rds in an afternoon and I also have a 11rd XRail magazine to do some trick shooting stuff. It has never gotten too hot to affect the vinyl wrap. It still looks great after years of being on there. So I don't think heat is an issue unless you would put an obscene amount of rounds though the barrel in a short period of time.
I might have to see if these guys do a revolver.

Why are some finishes shiny and others not?
Some guys like a gloss finish others want flat or satin. Just personal preference I guess.
Great process and product
How does it hold up to heat ?
Just like a factory dip job would 👍🏻
