- President Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a long-term security agreement at Thursday's G7 summit in Italy. CBS News' Nancy Cordes and Major Garrett have the latest.

Zelensky is *not* even president of Ukraine anymore, not because I said so, but by Ukraine's Constitution, which clearly states that if Martial Law is introduced and elections are not held than Speaker of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine takes presidential position by duty until elections are held - so, basically *any* Zelensky signature in any contract concerning Ukraine is *not legally valid* at all

Same for mining and commodities fields that have been given to the USA.
Gas extraction and transit infrastructures have long been in the USA hands, in fact since 2014, USA oligarchs receive around 1 billion in transit fees from the Russian gas going to Europe through Ukraine.
They are now studying the transfer of ownership of their electricity powerplants to the USA.

Maybe we should approach Russia with a deal that stops the killing and starts the healing. Maybe you tell Russia that Ukrain will be like switzerland and remain neutral but if Russia tried to attack Ukrain again the United Nations would be obligated to provide troops to stand against such aggession. Might be wise for the United Nations to put peace keepers in Ukrain right now.
Unfortunately, Russia has veto power in the UN Securtity Council. The UN is a joke and the US is its biggest supporter and dupe.
That's what Russia and Ukraine signed in march 2022, Russia had to remove their troops out of the Kiev region on their side, which they did, but UK (Johnson) and USA (blinken) forced Zelensky into breaching this deal, saying they will help
the UN doesn't do that type of stuff. They don't actually defend the people, but themselves.
