I have never seen chameleons racing about. It is amazing how quickly they can move when they need to see off a rival male!
Really ?
Actually, they only move slowly to avoid being eaten. Among lizards, they are among the most delicate and vulnerable.
@@soscobra Interesting
hatch dodo birdie numnum moriaatis 4 chelas
@@soscobraNot really true. Chameleons are known to jump from trees and book it when threatened.
I will watch anything this channel posts. It's so calming and wholesome. It's exactly what we all need in this world 🌹
Amazing footage! Thanks to all who captured the images and provided interesting facts.
I remember Labord's chameleon. It has the shortest lifespan of any known land vertebrate. It was featured on a 3-part BBC special on Madagascar & its wildlife, narrated by David Attenborough, of course.
Clown
1:28 I love the Nature
His eyes are amazing. What a wonder of nature.
its more a wonder of God !

Incredible cinematography. Fascinating and educational!
Iguanians are a diverse infraorder of lizards residing mostly in South America, Africa, Southern Asia, and Oceania, many iguanians are characterized by their sticky tongues, iguanians appear in many forms, very iconic iguanians include iguanas, chameleons, and chisel-toothed lizards.
Wild life photographers are the best!
Super amazing work BBC Earth
I didn't understood. what happened? Did the our new born chamaleon got a chance to mate ?
Beautiful story like a Hollywood movie 😂 full of action and adventure !!!
Just amazing
I never felt scared about something about birds but I hope nothing bad happened...I sat it's just we all like to watch wildlife this way too.
That was the most aggressive hello kiss I've ever seen.
that was the rival, not the female
Nature is so beautiful ❤️ 💚
Gotta be my favorite animal
I love these kind of videos, so much.
Same 👍🏾
what a speed from their tongue
So cute...
For the chameleon it's a race against time. For the insects, THEY ARE OUTTA TIME!
little buddy taught that littler buddy a lesson!
2:22 loll bruh anyways lol
Battle to be continued 😂😂😂
The size of prey, fly, is a nice yardstick to measure how dwarf he is!
Independent eye movement is a well-known phenomenon, but mystery is if each eye is also working at the same time. How input data is processed is of some interest. Extraordinary dwarfism! How did they do that? (Frog, too)
I love chameleon
4 months?? Wow I knew that was crazy short for a land vertebrate, glad to know my skepticism was confirmed!
Jajaja.esta muy hambriento ese pequeño animalito.genial video....muchas gracias.

i adore chameleons,💖but did not know they have a short life , aaww sad
It's not all chameleons, each species have different life strategies and ecologies. Common species that people keep as pets can live 10-15 years 🥰
@@leighdowling7289 Ty, good to know 😊👍

His hunter skils is best because he kils prey his tam and eat the prey wow exelent hunter skils good ♥️♥️
Fierce competition in male for mate a hallmark of chameleon, which has no effect on downsized body. Quick movement, flattening the body to make look bigger and bites, all those are hardly imaginable from somehow comical rocking locomotion. Chameleon is, chameleon does!
That was tense

3cm...I had to look that up to see just a tiny those hatchlings were! The flies they catch are almost the same size! I should look up another documentary on this creature. I wasn't ready for this one to end...sigh!
3cm flies would be pretty scary. Common flies are more like 1cm.
Nice wildlife 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Speed runners be like:
Wow !!!
Very similar lifespan to most insects, mantids, locusts, and so on.
I am always amazed that animals that grew up alone can recognize what their same species are like when mating. How do they know ? By smell ? How do they know by sight when they have never even seen themselves in like a mirror ?
a four month life a span wow
3:48 first thing you see your love rival, kiss.
That crazy 4 months? And I never knew they where that fast
1:13 what are those massive trees called

Incrível vídeo com detalhes minimalistas ...Os olhos do camaleão são verdadeiras objectivas e vitais na corrida que é curta ...tudo perfeito para que deixe a sua nova geração!! A paisagem um espanto !!
Having a 4 month lifespan must suck.
I like these videos very much. But narrators voice is subdued due to background music. Please increase narration volume.

I found a chameleon today
A short-lived creature. Given its size, its lifespan is no wonder. 4 months x 3 generations/ year! Could be disproportionately short. Overall morphology appears mostly isometrically miniaturized except slightly larger head. The length of the tongue looks proportional, maintaining it as superb weapon like much larger kin. Nature's trick!
It’s actually like mantids one generation a year, the eggs overwinter and hatch in the spring.
@@bugloverspiderlover8490 of course! Eggs need time to develop! Idiot me!
growing from 5 cm to 15cm? He's like me, fr.

I respect everyone who were involved in this Seriously the best piece that i ve ever seen on UA-cam 💌 Hate off to well all 💟 love your videos
Time is short? The chameleons don't know about time neither do they care about it, eat, sleep, make love, that's their joyful and carefree lifestyle.
This vid is how long?
