India has more freedom than Germany, if you consider language and religion as metrics of freedom. Take this guy to East Germany and he will have a real taste of Germany. I have lived 5 years there and I regret every moment of my stay. There is hardly any other country like this. Oh man! Such a bad bad experience.
More often than not, for most of us... The battle is not between the head and the heart... But it is between the head, the heart and a very long food-pipe ! 🙏
Really? The 35% untouchables in India certainly have a head and a heart, but NO food pipe. The remaining 65% have seen to it that they don't have access to one.
I wish the guy all the best. But the reality is, there is less and less need for priests, most priests in western europe will just die of old age sometime soon, and the few younger ones may aswell be unemployed. Holding mass for 20 elderly ppl on a sunday isn't exactly something that has a lot of future in it. My town has 3 massive medieval catholic churches, and right now they are all empty and mass is given in the parish house for like 20 ppl, 30 on a good day, pretty much all elderly ppl, and their kids that drive them there. Even the few things that used to get ppl to church here, confirmation and church funerals are becoming ever more rare. Ppl kept doing those for a long time out of tradition, I'm confirmed, but couldn't care less about it, just like most confirmed ppl in my generation. I have even requested to be written out of the catholic church due to some issues i had in my family 3 years ago, and the appaling loveless and even outright hostile attitude from the church towards all of it, which ensured that i never want anything to do with it ever again. I do grant all the ppl that still believe the opportunity to have a priest and go to mass, but I wouldn't support any big expenditures to do so. If they want a priest, the believers should just pay his wages, i'm tired of my tax money being wasted on such nonsense. I don't ask the state to pay for my meditation and yoga instructor either, eventhough they pretty much serve a similar role to a priest. So you know, if a religion dies out, it's hard to be surprised that there are few ppl standing up to be it's priests. There simply aren't many young deeply religions ppl left, and those that are tend to lead a normal life. It's hardly a tragedy.
The Catholic church was a globalized entity hundereds of years before globalisation was actually a thing. Thank Jesus for that. I hope that in the realm of faith there is no inside and outside. It just is.
Word of god eh?... Which god? Kali? Odin? Yahweh? Zeus? Pick a god, any god. Is _this_ your god? No? You're wrong, god says... Religion... keeping humans on their knees for centuries.

Thanks for the video, just please do not distribute the Holy Eucharist in the hand. God bless you dear priest in your new parish.
The US is importing priests. We need to import monks and nuns, too. We call it reverse missionaries.
The show must go on..
7,000 positions not filled in…what a shameful reality we live in.
Entirely the fault of the church because they exclude 50% of the potential candidates (women) and ask the priests to fulfill ridiculous demands like live an asexual life, no partner, no love, no children. I mean who would do that for a job even if it's passion. That doesn't really sell.
Those positions are "vacant" because there is virtualy nobody left to hear the bs of the church. I would call this progress. A few more decades till the last christians die of old age and we can finaly be free and build a society that isn't constrained by christian immorality.

he will bring more Keralites to Germany in coming years.
I have never seen anyone eat bread with cheese with knife and fork 😂 now that poor man thinks that's the norm in Germany 😂
I'm pretty sure that's a sin. And if it isn't it should be ;p
Bread and cheese is your breakfast or dinner ? I know Germans eat a lot of sausages for lunch ( I like them) 😊

All gods are fiction. People create gods, leprechauns, unicorns, jackalopes and Jedi Knights. People create fiction.
You honestly believe you just poofed into existence for no reason because of random happenstance? Lol young souls are too funny. To compare the almighty creator to a unicorn and leprechaun? Childish and shows your lack of spiritual depth. There is truth you know in your heart & soul, you are more than just a bag of flesh and bones my friend.
🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
It’s not necessary to have imaginary god only. You can take good example of people and follow their principles. You can pray them as god. For instance, Mahatma Gandhi. There are many like him. Choose yours and follow.
Hey, jedi knights are real.
If gods are fiction, then morals are fiction too.
This Indian priests looks polite, humble and faithful in Europe. They know they cannot intimidate Europeans. But here in the North Eastern parts of India, they are more than wolves. They would slap you, and use abusive words. There are many of them who even got married. Shame!
God bless him
Is his name really Shitjo or is it just Shijo? Shijo is a more common name in Kerala
May the Lord continue blessing his Church with the it’s Universal nature.
Great ❤❤❤❤❤
Don't do anything that will give a bad name to India.
India has more freedom than Germany, if you consider language and religion as metrics of freedom. Take this guy to East Germany and he will have a real taste of Germany. I have lived 5 years there and I regret every moment of my stay. There is hardly any other country like this. Oh man! Such a bad bad experience.
They hate everyone who doesn't speak German.
Please can you elaborate some of your experiences?
Which areas are east Germany ? West granny is better ?
Isn't eating with hands uncivilized in Germany? May be they are making concessions to find Priests- for which there are no takers
Most people eat their bread in the mornings and evenings with their hands. After having put butter, honey, marmelade by knife, of course.
Churches need to reform, & be more about introspection & morals, than any dogma.
Nature abhors vacuum. Islam or Paganism will take over. Europe will collapse without Christianity. We are already seeing signs of it.
German people are less religious, a sign of a superior country :/
Chimps are not religious
After supplying IT engineers around the world, a new avenue is opening in India. Supplying religious priests around the world.
You can outsource them now too?
The Catholic church was a globalized entity hundereds of years before globalisation was actually a thing. Thank Jesus for that. I hope that in the realm of faith there is no inside and outside. It just is.
You can outsource everything to India lol

@@annar6294It's really weird I have never seen anyone do that and I have lived my whole life in Germany. No that's not a German thing, we eat bread with our hands
I'm pretty sure that somewhere in deuternomy there is a verse saying "thou shalst not eat thine bread with fork and knife or thou shalt be smitten with the curse of thy lord".
Why would an intelligent man like him want to become a priest?
"As one who possesses an educated intellectual mind I am opposed to religion because religion is opposed to intelligence". - AALewis
Eh?
Maybe because of the children. 🤣😂
Because, he needs a job! All people who take up priesthood in all religions, do so as they need a job. Some of them are spiritually inclined. Definitely, not all of them are enlightened. It is we who are laymen overlay spirituality and enlightenment on them and then the trouble begins!!
Do you know how many catholic priest scientists are there? Even the Big Bang theory and Hubble's law were found by a catholic priest. There many of Catholic Priest scientists throughout the century. Also, Only intelligent and efficient people make out to be priests, In many poor places they are the sole teachers. Many doctors become priests.
All the animals are non believers, so intelligence is a religious trait
@@ramramamoorthy3686 but at what cost? Priests in Hinduism, Protestant Christianity and Islam can marry and have children but not the Catholic Christianity.

@@nonly1n I never thought of that... covenant.
@@VeryMerryLou I'm pretty sure it is a noah's ark thing, because I can tell you that the catholic church is still very much opposed to anything that isn't a heterosexual relationship. There are a few priests that ignore this, and very often they get ousted or placed in a community where they "can't do any harm" in the eyes of the church.
Thinking that the church is inclusive is a hopefull thought, but unfortunately, it is far from it.
