Velvet and Lute particularly, both cut off Carmilla and Seraphim in their respective songs. The instrumentation and genre of both songs change drastically when they both cut in. Velvet’s part in “Respectless” is accompanied by many elements from modern pop songs, as opposed to the Spanish Flamenco Guitar Carmilla’s part started off with. Seraphim’s replies to Emily and Charlie’s plight were accompanied by strings and piano for a really light hearted ballad, but then Lute interrupted them trying to stoke the flames of war, bashing Angel’s progress, all while accompanied by the electric guitar. It’s so tragic cuz the next extermination is clearly coming, and the Vees and Adam & Lute are gonna get so many killed, even on both sides since we heard from Velvet that Vox and Val were thinking up contingencies to strike back against the exorcists. You can tell by him wearing the bathrobe. I can’t stand people (or in this case, characters) being chastised for self-harm/destructive tendencies when they’re going through hell. Only reason Angel even resigns himself to those choices, is because 2/3rds of most of his days are spent figuratively AND literally bending over backwards for his demented boss, and being harassed via texts and mail off the clock. It’s not a good choice to resort to alcohol or drugs, sure, but I don’t think it should label him a bad person. It’s him coping with little to no security in his daily life. Hardly any breaks, and it’s his “normal” every day. Charlie’s blood was definitely boiling that Lute would even use that as an argument.
I thought heaven was going to be fake and have the whole perfect society act. But I was wrong, Adam and lute were keeping this secret the whole time. I can’t really blame them for making the decision that they made because they’re just trying to do what they believe is right.
That's what I'm liking about this so far, every one (for the most part, Adam is definitely a dick) genuinely believes what they're doing is right, and for the "greater good" that they believe in, like we have yet to see anyone just be evil for the sake of it. Now given, Alester Might be that evil, but we don't have solid confirmation on just how far he's willing to go just yet, or who all is pulling the strings

The more I see the show, the more a theory I heard feels correct. The term hazbin holds a lot weight. Everyone is being judged by their past. It doesn’t matter how bad the angels get, because based on their past. They are perfectly righteous. They don’t need to grow. Where as on the other side of the coin holds true. It doesn’t matter how righteous a hell bound sinner becomes, because they will always be judged by the things they did in their mortal past. So because of that, they are unable to seek redemption and the redeemed will never be held accountable. Adam is fighting to keep the status quo, where as Charlie is trying to shatter those chains. So that everyone can receive rightful justice and recognition for not only past sins, but future righteous deeds. It’s quite brilliant when you think about it.
After episode 6 when Sera said that they were uprising, I started to wonder who told her that? Who told them that it was because of population control? Who probably still holds a torch for Lilith, the woman that chose Lucifer? I don't know where they're gonna throw Adam, but it is not gonna be pretty.
I mean They kinda go hand in hand If hell gets overpopulated then they will have to either go against heaven or the sinners will try to force their way into the other rings in which case the hellborn will have to fight back because they don't want their rings turned into even worse warzones.
Wouldn't the solution to that be to stop exterminations together? So far Lucifer (and the angels/Cherubs) are the only ones who can open portals into Hell - it doesn't matter how strong the sinners become if they can't actually make it to Heaven So the risk would be that Sinners could kill angels in hell...but that can be averted if there aren't any angels around What is Sera doing???

I believe that the horns in Emily head is an indicator of her anger toward Sera, like how demons grow horns when they get angry like Lucifer or Charlie for example
Where is Eve during all of this. Adam sets the precedent and hold a lot of power for being the first human soul there, but we haven't seen or heard anything besides a single line saying she exists. If Adam is doing everything for entertainment is it possible Eve is supporting it for revenge? Adam could be angry about Lilith and Eve angry about the apple
This episode sets up an interesting question for me. If the hotel does have to fight, how do overlords like alastor compare to exorcists. And how strong is charlie.

First there is the Lucifer Morningstar, Son of Dawn, the light-bringing, one of the most powerful angels in gods kingdom who predates all of humanity, and thus adam, by millennia if not eons. And parent number 2 is Lilith the primordial demon, if not the first demon, who is almost as old as Adam and already hates his guts, FYI Adam was the only human male in existence at the time in the paradise of the garden of Eden and she still rejected him. So to summarize Adam just threatened to kill the daughter of beings so powerful that he should stay the hell out of hell or else he may find out there are fates worse then death.

The more I see the show, the more a theory I heard feels correct. The term hazbin holds a lot weight. Everyone is being judged by their past. It doesn’t matter how bad the angels get, because based on their past. They are perfectly righteous. They don’t need to grow. Where as on the other side of the coin holds true. It doesn’t matter how righteous a hell bound sinner becomes, because they will always be judged by the things they did in their mortal past. So because of that, they are unable to seek redemption and the redeemed will never be held accountable. Adam is fighting to keep the status quo, where as Charlie is trying to shatter those chains. So that everyone can receive rightful justice and recognition for not only past sins, but future righteous deeds. It’s quite brilliant when you think about it.
Charlie getting righteously upset and not backing down was so satisfying to see.

If hell gets overpopulated then they will have to either go against heaven or the sinners will try to force their way into the other rings in which case the hellborn will have to fight back because they don't want their rings turned into even worse warzones.
Wouldn't the solution to that be to stop exterminations together?
So far Lucifer (and the angels/Cherubs) are the only ones who can open portals into Hell - it doesn't matter how strong the sinners become if they can't actually make it to Heaven
So the risk would be that Sinners could kill angels in hell...but that can be averted if there aren't any angels around
