EVERY GOD DAMN SONG ON QUEEN'S TRACK HAS BEEN A BLAST O_O!!!!!!!!!!!! Im new this game and I am able to just BARELY get through bohemian rhapsody on hard it's incredibly fun! playing through the campaign and replaying the queen track made me improve quick.
Velocity is not really a scoring criteria, however, swing arc is, and you end up moving faster to complete the full swing in time for the next block. So you do end up with more velocity, but you're scored on arc angle.

Beat Saber on PSVR2 is really cool, I've been playing the game on other headsets like the Quest 2 and PSVR1 and the PSVR2 version is the best....kinda, Quest 2 has the mods (custom songs and sabers) but PSVR2 has the better graphics and stuff. It is a bummer that they put a lot of the more known songs behind a paywall :/ ig they gotta make profit somehow
What makes you say PSVR2 is best generally speaking? Just performance/visuals or? Man, mods must be nice! Wish they could bring them somehow to PSVR2 but almost definitely won't happen sadly. Yeah real bummer the best songs need to be purchased. Already bought some haha Rock Mixtape and Linkin Park packs so far xD

(Almost) any song you'd like for free, never have to buy them. If it hasn't been mapped, you could always learn to create your own and there is also AI map generates as well I think. But yeah, still worth playing even without mods. I have only bought two packs: Queen and Imagine Dragon (years ago). I play on Expert+ on almost every song, took me a bit to get there but it's really fun and TIRING. Good luck!
Too bad the devs don't make some of the mod stuff part of the game (like I seen some of the camera changes and stuff are apparently mods, that should be in game itself I think). I was debating the Imagine Dragon one and maybe at least a couple Queen songs if not the pack but prob better value just for the pack honestly! Expert+!? HOW!? That's crazy. See so many people just breeze through songs on Expert+ online like it's nothing. I wanna make more Beat Saber content, but feel like the content would be subpar if it isn't Expert+ flawless LOL
@@JSkeleton Definitely, however they wouldn't bring it to the actual game since it would negate the purpose of the music packs. If you ever get a Quest 2 or have a PC and get a PCVR headset, modded Beat Saber is a must have! Yeah, I just get the packs if I want to since the value. My advice for Expert+ is don't rush it, practice on songs. What I did was started on Normal and moved my way up. Once I got normal perfected, I moved to hard. Bit harder but I perfected it too. Then Expert. Then Expert+. There's more to it of course. Another thing is to focus, thoughts can distract you from being able to process the different blocks in time. Some songs are easier with Expert+, some harder (looking at you Ghost). I highly recommend this video as it helped me out a bit. It's a bit outdated on the older Beat Saber versions, but I think the settings should still be there. Also, side note, in the video you mentioned wanting to know how far you are into the song. Just go to the settings on the left panel and enable "Advanced Hud". This will give you a bar on the right side with the timestamps of where you are at and when the song ends. What’s the best headset (and why) for PC? Maybe something I’d consider just for the sheer amount of mods and possibilities with various VR games! My PC is pretty solid I’d say. I’ll check that vid out, maybe it’ll help me further😅 My biggest issue I think is remembering which colour is in which hand, especially when some songs change the colours🙃haha and the opposite hits (one up and one down) sometimes mess with me at the moment, as well as when there’s like crossovers or whatever you’d call it (a note on the opposite side).
The blocks you have to avoid look far more basic graphically than on the PC. I wonder why? The PSVR 2 could definitely handle the more detailed graphics.

Been on quest 1 then 2. Play on weekends and evenings sometimes. If your playing regularly it won't take you long.

More points if you hit the cubes in the middle and with velocity. If you just tapping it like some people, you'll gain lower points.
