I like these; just the right amount of complexity to make them realistic but not so overly complicated that makes them overwhelmingly impossible to convert without instructions (it could be transformed by memory)🙂
I feel this set is the biggest hint of the engineering genealogy of modern Zeta, Planet X's WfC line and Toy World. This is like the Homo Erectus of that journey. The buttressed knees that became the cornerstone ego signature of Planet X designs being one of the most fully on display elements. Neat to watch.
One thing I don't like about this version of bruticus is how they upscaled it ,the bigger you make the alt mode the more folding and tucking you gotta do to get the robot mode out ,then there's the combined mode where you gotta do extra folding and tucking to build the arms feet and body ,bigger is not better in this case
It's more about engineering, no matter how big or small the engineering within it is what decides how much movement is needed to go from point A to point B
Those limbs were so inventive: with hands swapping places with the shuttle nose/helicopter tail, and the folding tank treads, then BAM. They bring in the head, chest, waist, thighs, hands, and feet from off screen. I swear it's as if nobody who makes combiners thinks it's actually possible. FOC bruticus did it eleven years ago, you'd think we'd be able to make non-parts-formers more stable in eleven years.
It's a really cool combiner, for a company that doesn't care about its customers. I bought a Bruticus from Zeta and it came with a defect in the thigh joints, they were broken from the factory, in addition to the Onslaught coming with part of the chest loose due to a broken screw, I saw that a lot of people had the same defect. I tried to contact them to ask for replacement parts and they didn't even respond, today I have a broken toy with no chance of repair because I can't find the parts to replace. This situation is very sad.
Bleargh. I am not a fan of the combiners that have a whole bunch of combined mode parts not included in the separate robots. Having the entire lower torso be like that just feels egregious.
If you tap the screen to fast forward and do it just right, you'll hear a faint transforming sound from the cartoons. Also those rubber tracks are gona rot and snap after 2 years
OH COME ON! they seriously are going to just GIVE YOU a breast plate after that long jigza? Also Onslaught has a mouth but ok. Thanks for showing it through, Loved the design until they thought we were 5 :P
At first I was what are you on about? Then I saw what you mean. That's an awful lot of body that just comes from......somewhere. At least with Menasor, Motormaster's trailer becomes the set up to connect the torso to the legs.
I think the videotitle is just because of the shiny surface. This sounds like plastic. Die cast isn’t that squeaky and the figures don’t look that heavy

Great video. You did an excellent job of showing off the transformations clearly and easy to follow.
G1 toys and cartoons are the original and by a country mile easily the best. Great video man well done.

Ok llll😅 lol 😅
this is an unbelievable set of figures
Brawl and Vortex would be my go to choice for complex figures like these. Always loved how they did the designs for tanks and helicopters.

QUE BELLEZA 😳😲🤩🤗😎!!!!!!!!
Wow they look phenomenal sturdy man I missed out on those Zeta sets 😅
Bruticus was my friend, James’s fave Decepticon. He’d go apeshit over this Zeta Toys masterpiece (if he doesn’t already have it) 👍

im grateful to have gone for magic squares take on these characters. this kibble on the robot mode is unforgivable

It transformers either way 🤷♂️ like when the tires would fall off
Asombroso 👌
Am I the only one who sees that Vortex as a G1 styled Blackout?
I love Devastator by Toy world , but i really like this model of Bruticus. But maybe the Bruticus head look like too small , should be little bigger
awesome 😍

Coolll👏👏👏👏
Genial 👍👍
I go with Occular Max' Assaultus any day, no need for extra parts for combiner mode.
