Reminds me.. that anyone can become homeless and in the blink of an eye😢
And we’ve made it illegal 🙃🙃
THAT IS SO TRUE! BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO ME DURING HURRICANE 🌀 IKE! BEING HOMELESS IS NOT! A JOKE…
God bless those who suffer, God bless those who are saved...
I think H town will start losing people. The constant flooding is ridiculous. Its their fault because they refuse to zone.
I left 7 years ago. I can no longer tolerate the heat and could not find a suitable O & G job to replace the one i had after the company closed.
God bless the people affected by this horrible hurricane. Lives lost...some to death, some to not being saved. God bless.
Houston is called the bayou city , bring a boat and have full coverage
Again lessons not learned wish the best to all
What do expect with concrete everywhere. No place for water to go
Well that's why we have drains
Thank You Jesus Christ for miracles for those who help and those who need help ❤😊
My prayers goes out to all the people their.❤
God bless Houston Texas with fresh warm air in Gods name amen
I live in Houston off of I-10 and have seen the freeway flood in the past from hurricanes and floods to where the water is overflowing onto the overpass. I am just 50 miles from Galveston/ coast of Gulf of Mexico. I was born and raised in Houston and I have seen many hurricanes, tornadoes 🌪️, floods and other disasters hit the city. I know not to be out in that kind of weather. Hurricane season is from mid March to mid December this year. It is usually around mid June or mid August and ends in mid November.
From MS, I have never understood the people that don’t listen to sirens
Thank you all...I live here...city is struggling and...some decisions sure need to be made regarding better preparing, communication and improving power generation and distribution to ALL of the Houston. I got power back in about 3 days, but much of the area still has no power. Unbelievable this has happened AGAIN!! WE CAN AND SHOULD DO BETTER!
Prayers 🙏🌎🇺🇲
I love visiting Houston i was their for the rodeo in March. I don't think I could live there!
God Bless you all🙏🙏🙏😪
Drama queens
Not the best place to live
My God and this was only a hurricane 1
Houston floods no matter what
😢 Just so horrible to see and realize just how many people lose everything in the blink of an eye. 🙏🏼 💕
Thank y’all for all the prayers, it’s hard down here right now
That doesn’t look good in Houston! Better not swim in these waters!! 😮😮😮😮
God bless everyone affected by this 🙏🕊️
Does this happen alot in that area?
Yes, but people keep building there 🤷♂️
Hurricane Beryl caused this flooding. Category 1 hurricanes often cause more intense storm surges and a lot more flooding from excess rain.
Yes, it’s been known to flood during regular storms. Idk why people still don’t understand the flood zone areas and to stay away from them.
Yes, however it depends on where in Houston. I live in the NW area and it does not get like that up here.
Prayers going that way❤
That is so sad to see Houston Texas looking like that. I have friends that still live in Houston I hope that they are ok
This was unseen and unheard of!
why oh why is this still occuring????
Houston has been sinking a inch per year every year for decades.
GOD Bless you all
They drove through the water on purpose!
I use to live there too for 8 and half years but I am🎉 so glad to be back home in Alabama I went through Alisha hurricane ack in the 1995 maybe I am bot sure if that is right date or not. I was working at Fairlanes bowling alley and I lost work it flooded out the bowling alley.
