Don't GAF what anyone says about this draft especially the first pick I mean look I thought we was getting Lamar but he wouldn't even be starting so it would be a waste of a pick rather than addressing our need at another dominant DE only problem in have is the price we gave up to go from 27 to 14 but at the same time I hope Marcus see's the negative comments from some "saints" fans and proves us wrong and become the droty #WhoDat💯❤🔥

This draft was about depth. Other than Davenport not many of these guy will be starting but they will be seeing special teams and rotation spots. I think Will Clapp has potential to be a starter in the future.

We did a lot better in 2019 with Cgj and Erik mccoy and deointe Harris. But look at this way: we can’t pay everybody and pretty soon we are going to have to pay Kamara Marcus Williams and rankins, the year after it’s gonna be latt and ram and after that it’s Davenport. If we get a Super Bowl this year the picks were all worth it, Davenport and rankins with their injuries might not cost as much. Our 2017 draft being so good gave us an opportunity to gamble a little more a year later. And the Davenport trade didn’t hurt us much as we got great value in 2019. We gonna get a stud linebacker this draft. We’ll be good man dw.
The running back is 5’7 he is one inch taller then sprolls
This draft was all depth the only players I see that will be a starter is Davenport. Smith will develop into a starter later (I doubt he gets any snaps this year. In order- Thomas, Ginn, Meredith, Coleman and LeeLewis are all above him sadly. And maybe Clapp could be the future starter but that's about it

Got everything we were missing...got a complimentary d lineman to revamp the front four pressure to go along with the exceptional secondary we've built last year, tra'quan smith adds another cooks-type receiver back to the corp, another talented safety to replace marcus williams, another o lineman so that by the 2nd half of the season damn near the whole line wouldn't be beat up, another center for depth, a pretty good corner to add to our already crucial secondary, and another explosive sproles type rb to compliment ingram and kamara...overall i love their picks
This is the first time I've saw the Saints go after exactly what they were lacking and get it instead of being greedy and getting top name players to add to a position that we were already good on... good job Saints 👌

My only gripe would be going Boston Scott over Darrell Williams for LSU. He didn't get many snaps due to who had to play behind for 4 years but in those 4 years every snap he got he was impressive. He was strong and bullied his way through and in the open he was able to show speed. If we didn't have fournette or Guice Williams would've started and i don't think the tigers would've missed a beat. Their run game would've still been strong.
