Love these tips!! My mom taught me these tips, which I’m teaching my teenage daughter. Another tip is iron or steam your clothes. Nothing looks worse than wrinkled clothes 🤷🏾♀️.
Yessss! Start at them draws! Looking expensive is a lifestyle and not necessarily associated with money. Mastering expensive vibes will allow one to make cheap vibes appear LUX. Because I grew up poor, I made a early dedication to being beyond together when my community sees me. So now, my aura naturally exudes EXPENSE. People now assume when I wear a plain white t-shirt it’s actually a $700 Cucinelli version when it’s not 😂 It’s like I’ve trained myself to believe all of my outfits cost $7000, it transfers over to the sidewalk and it has fooled those I come in contact with. A tip I’ve followed as a expensive looking black man is always choosing out my garments the night before and ALWAYS IRONING EVERYTHING. Even my undershirt and boxers. Invest in a classic wrist watch and handmade gold/brass African jewelry. And ALWAYS look people in their eyes with a smile on my face 🥶 Nothing more expensive than happiness! Even if it’s fake cause sometime my feet be hurtin’ in these shoes made in Italy 😅🤫My moms said beauty is pain😂
I like to get a facial once a month, but I've found some great skincare products and do my own 10-step facials too. I've gotten more compliments about my skin's glow more than anything else good skin makes a statement.
Danielle, you are too funny, Love this video. Everything you said is True also smelling good makes people give you a second look thinking she got it going on:)
I agree, I had a closet full of clothes and never wore them because I didn’t know how to make them go together. I started changing up my style and I’m enjoying the journey..
There is also the expensive walk, they have a certain presence about them when they walk into a room. Let me go and get my nails done 🏃🏽♀️, i felt that one😅.
I can't afford high end bags and shoes (YET!!!) but I found that nice jewelry pieces can make a plain white tee look good. I shop for these pieces at outlet and discount sites. I also pair basics with more expensive shoes. For example, my jordan 1's look great with my zara basics.
Love the video, thanks Danielle! I love your tip about the cheap shoes. I’ve worn cheap shoes and shoes that are a little more expensive and I can definitely feel the difference. Helps me save money too not just jumping on the next cheap shoe trend.
I look well put together everyday. That’s my goal every morning I leave my home . Clothes clean and fit. Nothing to tight. Makeup easy breezy and beautiful. I keep a fresh mani & pedi I do my self because my lady lady I fires so coins in my pocket. But I think it’s rad to look expensive.
This was a great video. It made me think about my capsule wardrobe and the fact I need to make so updates since I older and retired now. I have become more on the casual side and because what I have was a more professional attire I find myself not wanting to get dressed. I have become a legging and big shirt person. The one thing I hardly every did when I was working. That’s for the encouragement!
thank you for watching, Kathy! In my previous life I worked at a bank so I totally feel you on embracing the more casual side more. I know I sure do...lol. You might just need a few jackets to throw on to make your current casual attire look a bit more elevated.
Two minutes in and I love you already. Best tip, 'wear clothes that look like they were made for you'. That is the definition of couture. My tip is to avoid shiny gold or silver jewelry and embelishments. Do artisan or vintage looking pieces instead.
You have beautiful skin, love the hair and thanks for the info. I enjoyed the vlog. I believe you also have to have a winning personality and own the style you choose to project, which you truly exude. That's what drew me in and yes I liked and subscribed. Be blessed and have a great weekend.
Hello all..new subbie here. Your channel popped up on my recommendation list and I absolutely looovved what I saw. I'm not one to leave a lot of comments but I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your content, personality and style. 👍👍
I loved this video. Wonderful. My go tos for looking expensive are good quality (or looking) jewelry, eyewear, handbags & coats. I loved all the tips, especially the one about turning thrifted finds into something fabulous for more busty women. That sounds like a great idea (wink wink)
Crusty ain't it. A healthy, natural glow is. Buff and polish from head to toe . Also, Polish those pearly white with a little fresh baking soda. Then, MOISTURIZE darling. It's all old school, but it's low cost and highly effective. Don't believe me, go look at some of those old sepia/ black and white photos of your grandmothers. Those are NOT FILTERED, they are REAL! Just my 2¢. Loved the video. 👏🏽😊
I like all of the advice besides the underwear, To each their own, but unless the underwear are cotton, I am not wearing them. Other materials are not breathable and not the best for vaginal health.
My biggest tip to “look expensive” is be very careful when following trends. Wealthy people (I’m not talking celebrities, I’m talking genuinely wealthy people who come from generational wealth) don’t dress flashy. Almost everything is very under the radar while also being well-tailored and fitting.
I think wealthy people with no sense of fashion fit into this category. Those that are into fashion will have a style that doesn't fit into that "under the radar" look. I think we may want to look classy and perhaps "rich", but I think we should wear items that we love as well regardless of whether or not they are muted looks or if they are in fashion. Fashion should be fun!
I agree with you about wearing what looks good for your body type. Yes ppl can wear what they want but im a firm believer in just cause it comes in your size doesnt mean it looks good on you. I always dress my size and smell amazing hair and nails in tact all while wearing reasonably priced clothing oh and minimum natural looking makeup for everyday. Idc how much the nails cost the extra long bling 3d art and all that is tacky also excessive jewelry IMO
My biggest tip is to be mindful of fit and proportion. Even the cheapest garment can look luxurious if it fits like it was made for you, so find a tailor.
I wear a gold tone men’s watch and statement gold earring as accessories. I wear this with midi dresses. No pants or jeans - just midi dresses and to keep warm- leather knee boots and a black or Carmel blazers. I just subscribed and I love your hair!
I feel like this needs to be an ad for younger females if I had heard this when I was growing up I wouldn’t have wasted money on things that didn’t do me justice and I never wore more than once or twice.
Leave our granny panties alone, lol. I have definitely gotten into statement coats the past couple of years. I'm not really into shoes, so I'm pretty good at only investing in quality staple shoes. Cutting your wigs to fit your face is definitely a life hack as well as press on nails (a well done manicure only minutes away.)
I just enjoyed watching you . You were great ! I love a great looking pea coat because your outfit can be plain , but the coat makes you look well put together in your Walmart slacks and plain blouse. Amen somebody?

where is the point of pretending what you are not?
