I think the rivalry between the WoO guys and the High Limit guys is good for the sport. I love them both, and the benefit of the creation of HL is more great events to watch. The fact that they still face each other once in a while just makes it all the better.
All I can say is I had a blast at Eldora. Racing was great all week. There was certainly some surprises, but overall very proud of all of the guys. The competition in dirt racing across all disciplines is at an all time high. And of course even being at Eldora I was still able to watch the Silver Dollar Nationals. What a weekend!
There are more quality teams and drivers in sprint car racing than I’ve ever seen . David had to beat them all last night🏁 it was one of the best kings Royals races ever

I ended up visiting Delaware for a work trip ( I’m from Manitoba Canada) and I was ripping down the interstate on Saturday night and seen a sign for Bridgeport Speedway so i bombed the exit and made it in time to catch the sprint car and dual 25 sportsman mod feature. I have to thank you, as had I not followed your channel, the words Bridgeport Speedway may have never even rung a bell to me! Thanks for all you do, I would definitly say the presence of your channel is something i take for granted.
I've been going to races since early 80s I don't know what I've missed but I don't understand how anybody can say I like sprint cars but not late models or like late models and not sprint cars they are badass fun stuff to watch I love it all

Remember when they wanted to put astriks on whoever wins the WoO title? Particularly Gravel. Im a Schuchart fan for sure, but i also like alot of the drivers in both series. But I really really love the sweetness of the outlaws truly taking the cake this weekend. I love the competition of both series. It brings excitement, it brings fans to the sport. Change can be so so good for competition.

Justin,all the sprint car drivers talk about the advantage of leading and having clean air. Can anyone explain to me how Donnie Schatz could go from twenty or more spots back and finish fourth one night and second on another night!
Well you saw it firsthand, he was able to annihilate people in the midfield almost each night, but once he had to pass the guys with clean air it was a whole nother type of struggle. But donny was on fire, I wish him and David had both started up front
I was at Pevely last night and the racing was a bit boring, Except the Late Model feature. 23 cars started, 6 finished. Justin Feger was awesome, he had a few challenges after each restart, there was lots of restarts. He prevailed at the end. Michael Kloos was a close second. Awesome race. The racing surface was great after 5" of rain earlier in the week. The track needs better lighting, the pole side was dark from the grandstand side.
I drove up for Saturday….how disappointing. Nice facility but you could tell it was Sprit car territory. Hard to believe they did not realize the berm was the culprit in eliminating the low lane.
@landonmurray3814 it's not the racing that sucks , it's the fan support . They can't afford to lose their A$$ on big races year after year . The big races are where they have the potential to make a profit for the year . Weekly shows at most tracks now are lucky to break even . If you guys want to see Hussets Speedway stay open you better start supporting the big latemodel races too
The crowd at Hussets was pitiful . Lucas Oil and WOO pulled out of CHEROKEE to go to these tracks and Cherokee always was packed out even with streaming . I don't see how Hussets can keep running a big LM show and lose the $$$$$$ they had to lose
Usac also had a tough showing.. Midgets on that track was exciting and excellent.. It just seems if there isn't a wing...(410) It just has not gotten the traction it needed.. And I agree how long can this keep up??
I wish Eldora would have done some track work between race days. The inside of turns 1 and 2 got visibly worse every raceday this week. It's a bad look for the facility.
What they really need to do which they won't is dig the bottom of the turns back out like they used to be when Earl owned the place. Bring back the against the wall racing and can this racing the place like a 3/8 mile
Gravel cares about the Outlaws vs High Limit because if he wins the WoO title, nobody would care because Sweet wasn’t there to defend his title. Gravel said he’s going to race them every chance he gets because he knows his chances are limited. He felt he had to have this week to validate his Outlaw title run. Schatz proving he’s not totally washed up only helped him as well
Huset’s sucked for Late Models. The stupid berm at the bottom works for Sprint cars but eliminated the low lane as a LM nose is not compatible. Please move it to I-70 so there are more cars and butts in the seats.
This should quiet the High Limit/Larson nut huggers for the next couple of weeks. If they fail like this at Knoxville, they won't have a valid leg to stand on for the rest of the year. This week was an embarrassing ass-whipping.
@@CM-ve1bz You must be drunk. This was one of the biggest weeks of sprint car racing that will happen this year. Arguably bigger than the Nationals which is just one night with a big $$ payday. The June races in Knoxville were split between the 2 and those meant nothing compared to a 6 figure crown jewel.
@@aammdj What you understand about racing, I keep in my jock strap. It doesn’t matter if it’s for $10,000 or $100,000, the race is the same. Somebody wins and everybody else lost. Only somebody that sits in the bleachers would believe the money makes any difference in how hard they race.
@@TheBullet51 Lakeside is my home track. They have not been interested in big late model shows for a while. The facility has not had any improvements for a long time so it is not ready for a big money shows.

They are all exceptional drivers. Who's car is right for any given night makes a huge difference.

Was a pretty good 100 lap race. I’d say maybe 3500 people in stands. They are trying to save the track from the Fair Board wanting to shut it down 😢
Hopefully we can continue to work and save the track i hope see what the final numbers say

The husets facility is amazing and the things they want to do for dirt racing are incredible, but man the late model shows just kinda suck there...

I think Silver Dollar paid $2,000 to start instead of $2,500. $3,000 for 13th; $4,000 for 8th.

The haters are mostly those that can’t afford dirtvision. They’d rather be bitter than budget better.
I wish they would ditch the invert in the heat races. Not enough laps, and teams are very close on speed.

I-70 is the obvious choice. Central location and top notch facility. Hard to commit to a location that is about to get knocked to the ground.
