First, I subscribed and look forward to watching more of your trapping adventures. Our Mississippi trapping season started earlier this week but due to work I couldn't get in the woods. Hope to get a small line started this weekend however. Second, great to see you racking up on the masked bandits. I think you might be right that you are getting mostly younger coons after thinning out some of the older ones. But there may still be a wily old boar raccoon stealing from your traps. Third, here's an idea to consider to nab the trap robber. Consider setting a few standard foothold traps instead of just using the dog proofs. Something simple like a foothold in front of a dirt hole set where he has to reach deep for the bait might get him. If you can put the foothold underwater, so much the better. You could even just set a foothold in front of the dog proof so that he might step on it while doing his trap robbing tricks. You have to outthink those bandits, that's for sure. Hope you can post a camera so you can get video of the actual capture! Good luck.
Thanks for subscribing! You have some how seen into the future, I planned on making a few dirt hole sets strictly for racoon in a few weeks when season starts up again.
I AM NEW AT YOUR CHANNEL
