Thank you both. I was diagnosed by having ecstatic seizures, an atheist, I suspect there is some truth to Geschwinds syndrome. theres a grandiosity we/I feel, I ponder related to the macroscopia, to see every pore in a face in contrast in fits is akin to seeing the human experience & society in such a similarly heightened way. it is a curse and blessing. As Dostoevsky noted we are truly blessed to experience these moments of life's grandeur and ecstacy, where time stands still for eternity. Call it god, enlightenment , pathologize it, to experience the pure nexus of complexity ( as i interpret it this way via IIT & shannon) it makes no difference. yes we face stigma but its a blessing. I thank you both for your thorough and compassionate summary of the condition, the best i've seen online, I wish you both the best xx

My son had seizures for two years, and they thought it was a little spot in his brain that was in operable and then he had a tooth removed that got infected. It was one he had a root canal done and when they pulled the tooth, the screw was going through the tooth and into the gum line. He was on seizure medicine for two years and after he had that tooth pulled he stopped his medication because it made him sick and he hasn’t had a seizure for for five years now I’m sure with that metal piece going into his gumline from the root cannel.

Are atonic seizures the same as those fainting goats who fall over when they are stressed?

Looks somewhat like that, but they are also quiet complex in appearance.
