Then go ahead and get another guitar. You don't have to be good, you just have to have fun. Try a simpler style and play around with it. I gave up strings because I could never get good at the style I wanted. When I came back I gave myself permission to be bad and just enjoy making music. I missed a lot of time in between, but I've had a great time since taking up music again.
