Happy 4th of July...!!! new stick dulcimers... figured sycamore top..SUPER thin..!! high end woods....unique bracing, and a different darker sound thanks for watching!!!
Love your Stick Dulcimers. The BASS ones intrigued me. A month ago I made a 37” long, 25.5” scale with ash body/neck with cedar top with a black walnut laminated center neck and mulberry finger board and bridge. Bone nut & saddle. Now you got my gears turning in my head to build a BASS. Thank you for this demonstration. Take care and keep crafting.
Beautiful instruments cj12!
Always a treat to see you talk about them and an even bigger treat to hear you play them.
Thanks!!
i really admire the sound of the Calliope model.
Very nice! They turned out great!
Thanks for checking them out .!!!

Thank you. Flintlocks & Fretboard String instruments. haha@@Cj12sings
Awesome Job !!! I love the sound. What is the pickup? A Piezo? Beautiful wood working!
I like the sound on the 2nd one. I need to get back to work on mine.
You can use non traditional
Tonewoods for the top dor more vintage sound...thanks for watching.
Beautiful! Each one sounds great in its own way. Would it be possible to change the sound occasionally on the first one by using lighter strings?
In this case no, the bracing is to heavy, you need a heavy string to drive the top, get it vibrating...thanks for watching...
