Portsmouth Skate Academy Crowdfunder! (USP)

Welcome to our crowd funder for The Portsmouth Skate academy!
We have been selected by Portsmouth city council to take part in the Community’s That Matter project they have agreed to match fund some of what we raise, so the more we raise the better we’ll do!
Portsmouth Skate Academy is a part of the Undercover Skatepark Project (USP) which is a new state of the art undercover/indoor skatepark coming to Portsmouth. We aim for this to be the biggest and most exciting skatepark to come to the South coast.
The skate academy was launched in 2019 by USP‘s Founder Jacob Skinner. He currently has more than 10 students who regularly train in Portsmouth. The funds raised through this Crowdfunder will go towards expanding the skate academy. We aim to employ new instructors and providing all the correct training. We will buy brand new equipment from pads to boards, ramps and more! We want anyone who wants to be able to learn not to be held back because of equipment.
This skate school is a place for anyone of any age and ability to build a foundation to learn and progress on and off the board. We can help build a frame work for anyone who wants to give it a go through 1:1 tuition or group sessions... because we all learn in different ways.
Skateboarding isn't just a physical skill it helps build confidence, perseverance, keeps you dedicated, gives you a purpose, enables you to be creative and welcomes you into a bigger family!
