Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

This is one of the best discourses I have ever heard on the Holy Spirit. This is truly anointed. My family went through tragedy this week and my God was gracious enough to bring this favorite teaching back to my feed. God is always watching over us. He is a Living God.

I sensed that the Holy Spirit of God is performing a significant grace in every part of my life. I thank God for Charles Surgeon's annoited gift of preaching and teaching. He has acquired knowledge, understanding, and personal experiences that is far beyond a man's capacity. His ministry is guided by the Holy Spirit.

Yes, 2020 and beyond. It’s July 2022 as I write this; our country is quickly eroding under the iron fist of a despot and his minions (but as a country founded on Godly principles, we have turned away from Him and are getting what we deserve).
We who are saved from death and hell cling to our Blessed Hope in Jesus Christ. The timeless sermons of Charles Spurgeon and a few others are invaluable to our Christian walk. May God bless you today and always.

A great great preacher the sermons are so so practical and are so relevant to everything today. If you listen to his sermons over and over again each time you get more and more inside to the word. I feel very blessed to be listening and studying along with his sermons all the glory to God God be the glory.

Absolutely correct. If we read our Bible daily and spend time with God, then we would know the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us that He will send us the Holy Spirit after He ascended into Heaven and He is now interceding for us all Believers, Christians, Sons and Daughters of God. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things about the Bible and about how we live our lives here on Earth. And thank God that He through the Holy Spirit give each and every one of us spiritual gift(s) to share the Gospel, the Good news of His Son Jesus Christ. And to use that gift whether it is a gift of prophesying, healing, prayer, speaking in tongue, teaching, spiritual discernment etc. Thank God for the gift of teaching the Scriptures for those who are not mature in the Word of God yet. We must continue to study the Word of God and spend time with Him in His Word and this is the key so that we won't be deceive by the deceiver, Amen.

Well, this certainly flies into the face of those who'd counsel to "just leave your burden with the Lord - don't keep taking it back"! I can only leave that burden with Him when HE takes it away; until then, I MUST pray!
We also need to enter into praise ,as well as pray, and leave that way clear...to call on our Lord . Many times in praise to the Father the tears roll in His perfect presense, and His love is ever so strong. I believe in taking Communion anytime at home , becauseJesus said..."for as oft as ye take this, do this in rememberence of me"God be with you. Pray for our beloved PresidentTrump and his family..and our nation! I thankGod many times during the day for so many things, and President Trump is much to be thankful for!!

The Holy Spirit is our teacher, leader, and Guide. He(Holy Spirit) leads us in all truth and righteousness. He prays through us to God. He leads us in the paths of righteousness for Christ's name sake.
I am thrilled to have discovered this channel! I believe this may be an answer to prayer and that it was the Holy Spirit who led me to it. ~ I shall give my ears, my heart, my very soul to every one of these teachings, and of course to the "word" with the hope that somehow, the Lord would find it "for His good pleasure" to use me and to "know" HIM more intimately. He has "filled me" with the Holy Spirit, according to the very words of Christ Himself, as spoken to Nicodemus.
He did so during a period of my life when I was thoroughly lost and knew nothing pertaining to the things of God, and through Grace alone, has delivered me from an idolatrous religion, to walk with me for eternity. (My time left on this little sphere of dirt is almost over and even at my age, (I have seen over 60 years of life) as a vaporous moment in time.
Oh, that I may know him, please him, glorify Him, sanctified in my heart, and that others may know Him through the anointing as He sees fit, freely though unworthy, flowing through me...~ Father, Son, and Holy Ghost... One God. This is my prayer and my heart's desire...

I pray that the Lord will use this great preacher again, as He has before for me, to take away heartache lasting many years when I loved someone so incredibly strong...that when she left, w/out a goodbye...all I do is just weep, begging God, after all the years of heartbreak...please move her, after all the decades gone by, that she will at least call or write so I can say goodbye after these 50+ years. I have never stopped loving her, never.
I know not the town she lives in nor her different name. Too much to explain here but I'd have settled for a friendship no matter what she did. How may one fall in love instantly, so hard it could be a bit of heaven on earth if we together...but when the one can just walk away, it is plain hard pain of heart and tears no matter the time. Oh God, Please?

I am blessed by Charles Spurgeon's messages. There are other readers of Spurgeon's sermons. but somehow this is the only reader who is truly gifted in conveying the message effectively. You feel as if you are listening to the preacher himself. Is there anyone who also feels the same way?
