Very interesting but guess what Miles or Kilometres on the Speedo not available, (Just a small display) I guess you USA users have the same problem in Canada, the Sat Nav only shows MIles again no Kilometres. ALL the older vehicles just have Miles Kilometres on the Speedo Display. This for me is a serious omission because I drive 7 months in the UK and 5 in Europe.
Personally I don't like it. Out of place in a prestige S80, V70. Looks cheap over the previous cluster. Driven a V40 with it in Sweden and I felt like it was a smartphone in my face, ie. too much info in the one place for a car cluster and confusing. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me (not). I feel however that the Asian owners have pushed for this as they go mad for this techno look more than us Europeans, certainly Scandinavians who normally aren't afraid to make an individualist's statement in that their cars usually retain a more older, classier looks with new technology hidden away in performance and safety. A little more chrome here and there. (Saab and Volvo). Please keep Volvo a Nordic affair!!
I was planning to buy the 2011 V60 but seeing this, I have to buy at least a 2014 version. But it is still quite expensive.
Nice wow !!
Are these changes only cosmetics or does it impact the performance of engine?
