I am excited to try this method. Years ago I would glaze the inside with clear and the outside with color, but now I glaze my pots all one color, so this technique should save me time and cut down on runny glazes, especially my celadon. Cheers!

That is a lot of glaze to store for my yearly output. Sorry, I use smaller 1 gallon glaze batches so a Dollar store ladle/spoon to both stir the glaze and pour works for my needs. There are so many potters with perfect stuff in my area that I found having uniquely flawed throwing and glazing patterns are hot and cannot keep them on the shelf.
love you pots. I tried to demo this at U Arts and while it worked, much to the students delight, I threw glaze all over me.

That sure takes practice. I tried it a number of times and made a mess. I may not have been doing it exactly right. Maybe I will practice with clear jars.
What’s that dip made of? It’s liquid clay or u fire and it becomes shiny? And where I ca get that? Thanks for technique
I use to brush on the glaze around my pots.
I did not add wax on the bottom of my pots .I just use a sponge like you do .
