What you don’t understand is that we don’t care if his supporters are riled up by his indictments or convictions or if he is not convicted, that he is more competent to hold office. We care about the rule of law and justice. If he is not convicted- he still has 3 other indictments to face after this. Also- no person who is planning to vote against him is going to be swayed by a hung jury. He lost in 2020 and the same people who voted against him then will vote against him again.
Don't be so sure about that. I know plenty of Democrats who are so turned off by the indictments they are voting for Trump this year instead of Biden.
