- Nepalese Folk Song/Music: Hill Boys/U n Us Band/Gurkha Band
Original: Buddhi Pariyar and it was first recorded in Radio Nepal.
Singers: Dwarika Lal Joshi and Sunder Shrestha.
Tirtha Bahadur Gandarwa is also attributed to collecting and singing this song.
As this is a folk song of Nepal, it is hard to say whether a single person composed or wrote it. Usually, folk songs are composed and sung by the village people. People sing folk songs while doing everyday work, while walking up and down the hill, in fetes and festivals and this way the songs remain rooted in the society. Folk singers and musicians, pick up the tunes, collect the lyrics and arrange the music and subsequently record them. So, it will be difficult to say exactly where it started from and who actually composed it.

I used to call Nepal home. Now I've moved back to my own country. Watching this video makes me homesick. Yes, that makes me sad. But also happy, because I know Nepali people and land are stuck deeply in my soul. Until, I return again, I'll use videos like these to revive the unique beauty of Nepal, which isn't perfect, but very special, at least to me. I feel like a NRN.... yes, things,stuff is great in the west. yes nepal has problems and life there isn't better or exotic. But in so much progress and development something very beautiful is lost. We need to promote this kind of music instead the copied bollywood music and so called remixed songs. Not that there is anything wrong with them, but our own music style is slowly dying under their influence. While the non deserving artists are earning happily, the real talent is struggling even to survive. :/

the people from northeast india such as nagas from nagaland and mizos from mizoram belong to mongoloid race. they just look like the rai limbu gurung magar people from nepal. In the ancient time, all the mongoloid race people from nepal to india were called Kirat or kiratas. google kiratas and you know better about it. BTW i am from Assam.
