Love tales of the small operations hidden behind the bluster of war reporting. And making the connection to David Niven, who never got over being upstaged by Robert Wagner in the Pink Panther is always a plus. Now, if he could only get past starring as James Bond in Casino Royale.
"Casino Royale" with David Niven is my favorite Bond movie.
This was one of the many stories of WWII that I had no idea of, but despite any diplomatic fallout, would have been a hell of a pr coup at the time
