Unfortunately and sadly, Matt suddenly passed away just a few weeks ago (11/28/2021). We’re missing you so much, Matt…RIP…what a wonderful gift to see you like this again!
Back in the day, the dates went on trips like this. GSN's Baggage with Jerry Springer from about 10 years old gave their dating couples nights on the town in the LA area.
@@zachhoran If I remember correctly, on Love Connection, they just sent the couples to a restaurant to get to know each other. Guadalajara's not a date. That's a honeymoon.
@@MrCityslickerktm Love Connection gave the couple $75 or $100 to help pay for date expenses, but IIRC didn't pick the place the date would be held at. Uusally the dates went to lunch or dinner among their activities.

I worked with Matt back in the 90’s, he was a great guy and very talented. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

The movie NUts opened on 12/11/1987, so this is from 12/11/1987 or later, or could be an Xmastime rerun of earlier in the season.
