Come on Modenas.... Use that jaguh engine, bore it to 200cc or 250cc.. add oil coolant and make motorcycle like cafe racer, bobber, racer, naked and dual purpose and scrambler... My god!

They've done that but u know laa the higher up scrap the idea and rebadge the bajaj for much cheaper cost

You got the name wrong, its a GPX LEGEND Gentleman 200, there's no Racing.
Although there is a newer model the GPX Legend Gentleman Racer 200 which isn't available here.

Firstly, thanks for always keeping us abreast of the latest news in the motorcycling scene.
If I may, while I find your reviews smooth and storytelling-like, I also hope you get down to the nitty gritty about the bikes you review, because we depend on as much information as we can get from reviewers who have the luxury of test riding these bikes, more than you know. We need to know how well these bikes perform at all speeds, all rpms, the level of vibrations to expect from these sub-500cc thumpers, rider triangle, pillion comfort, engine heat (if any lol) etc. Even better if a comparison can be made with other bikes of the same capacity/category.
Otherwise, every review is a beautiful little story about how beautiful every bike is.

I test ride it before and TBH for the price, one get more value out from Modenas NS200. My personal thoughts of GPX Gentleman:
Pros:
Best looking bike of its category and the price range. A solids 10/10 in the looks compartment. A Head turner, people will stare at you. Solid brakes, decent stopping power. Parts should be easily available.
Cons (long):
Weird handling, the weight distribution is odd with top heavy so leaning can be tricky with stock tire. The vibration at low and high RPM is too much for me. Strangely at mid RPM is where engine feels calm n less vibrating, weird. Seat is hard, definitely need extra padding. This bike feels like sitting on top instead of in the bike feel and I don't quite like it, feels like I'm sitting on top of a car when driving and the lower handlebar means I need to bend forward which put lots of pressure on my hand. Especially when the clutch Lever is hard to pull making it challenging in bad traffic areas, and aggressive shift gear change not very confidence inspiring, finding neutral can be inconsistent and traffic stop. Anyone coming from a cruiser or sports bike will definitely feels the different. The vibration makes it bad for long distance ride as numbing hand confirmed unless riding at 70-90km/h. Heat dissipation needs improvement. Maintenance will be slightly higher than say... NS200.
Overall, this bike has only 1 purpose, and is to look frigging good and hopefully makes you look cool as well. Expect anything other than that and will disappoint.
I really like how it looks when I first saw the base model during my trip to Thailand and when the Black Immortal edition is released, I fall in love. Unfortunately, the test ride really turns me off and I just marvel at its look.
However, for the price you pay, and maybe get a nice outfit to go with it, definitely makes the world turn around at you. Oh boy... How beautiful is this bike indeed.
Goddang now this is the kind of reviewer we all want. You should be doing the job. Maybe review other bikes if you can too.
Excellent review sir, I've been eyeing this bike for well over a year and I gotta say the look is very, very tempting. Unfortunately, GPX doesn't has much reputation like other Japanese brands which really made me hesitate. It's refreshing to hear honest reviews like yours, unlike fanboys in certain Facebook group *cough* Cafe Racer Malaysia *cough* that are too fragile to take any criticism. Again, thank you sir.

I'm looking for 200cc entry retro bike as well... hopefully to include ABS. Budget is around 20k, but not further than 200cc. I would like to use it for backpacking trip in all states in West Malaysia.. Any recommendation?

Thanks for the video. As an American we do not have these bikes. We do not get reviews of these in America and it hard for us to fund reviews in English. Please do more world bikes reviews. Demon 200.

Very nice for a rm10k budget especially for the upright big diameter fork and double disc brake. But no sport rims?
I have a 2019 K Light 202. Disappointing engine sound and vibration at 7000rpm.

Whos the local distributor? What about servicing and spare parts? Any common components which are interchangeable with Japanese brands in Malaysia?
Not sure about local distributor, but did look around the mudah seems pretty lot of these motors around. Maybe not too hard to find sparepart too since was made in Thailand.
love to know too. The classic look attract me to have one but not sure about the price. This kind of bike could be pricey of its price and the maintenance too.
look like redesign model. kind of different from the actual model. for casual riding, its extremely smart.
search in the social media group then you can find a few of local distributor..for spare parts, no worries even you cant get in Malaysia just ordering from outside..

save money then u can buy, just like me save for a year then can afford to buy Yamaha Tracer 900 GT
same goes to me, im just using the ordinary motorbike. love to have one but worry about the maintenance cost especially engine oil. currently using castrol and mobil1 due to reasonable price and cheaper than other for mine but i dont know if it suitable and afford such those motorbike.

It's a cheap bike, it won't last long.
Have the 250 cc version in our country.
Aside from minor light issues that needs to have their wires fixed and a carb that needs to be tuned asap, no issues whatsoever. Currently own one for 2 years and counting. Using it daily

harga 9,000++ tapi sayang karburator je? mahal dekat fork terbalik la je aku rase.stakat meter boleh tukar kaler brang aftermarket bersepah lagi lawa..kelebihan dkt coverset je lah nmpk crowded aksesori plastik.

ha ha.. the guy riding around the test track looked like he was frightened to really lean it into the corners... also there was no short onboard clip showing acceleration and also braking.. hardly very professional..
