  • Live from North Sea Jazz Festival 1994. Amigo Claudionorcruz from Tapajos. Great guitar solo. It's not a very known piece from them but I think it's one of their best arrangements.

this has to be one of the classiest performances Ive ever seen.. and to imagine that Nirvana was the biggest hit at this time is kind of mind boggling.. where have all the appropriately appreciative minds gone? music can be beautiful..

I am fanboying for several weeks already on this composition, which seems pretty identical to the 'Gipsy Summer' (album) recording of 'Evocacao de Jacob'. I am now studying the bass, which is pretty nice from someone doing it all from ear. I wouldn't know, hear ór do any better. Worth studying. I like the hops in Nonnie's lines (extra 16th's) to make up for where he needs to end up.
Still looking for the 4 guitar chords from 0:45, going down chromatically to Gmaj7. The last being Bm7 Bb7 Am7 Ab7 Gmaj7. But there's still 4 chords in front of that.
Solo guitar is little out of my league still. maybe on 75% tempo.

Great performance. But it is not from North sea jazz festival. It is from concert in Haague in 1992.

I actualy think is his 504 selmer macaferri, but the sides don't look like rosewood... I don't know for shure...

No tabs for this song. I tried to search the web for almost three hours and there is (almost) no mention about this song. You have to learn it by your ear. Good luck.

I am also looking for more info. already struggling with the chords.
      intro Nous'che: Em7 C B7 Em7 (maybe some inversions or specific fingerings)
      then: D Em7 B7 E9(?)
There I'm lost. can't really figure out that last chord. E9 doesn't fit in the overall G major scale (I'm not used to jazz). But okay, a secondary dominant. But not going to A then... lost.

      then:
      Am7 C#dim B7 Em (C# half-diminished that is, or Cm7b5)
      next theme:
      Gmaj7 // // //
      Dm7 Dm6 Cmaj7 //
This is where I am totally lost now.
      Cmaj7 Edim7 D7 ?? lost...
      EDIT:
      Cmaj7 Cm7 Bm7 ... and then some 2-5-1 loop/circle-of-fifths thing.
this theme has 2 variations. the second time it has this turn-around at the end:
      Gmaj7 Baug7

still stuck on the first variation:
      got the 2nd one almost:
      Gmaj7 // // //
      Dm7 Dm6 Cmaj7 //
      Cmaj7 Cm7 Bm7 ?? Am7 G#7 Gmaj7 Baug7 (help me find the missing chord?)

Still working out the last chords of this song. not literally the last chords of the song. More specifically, ua-cam.com/video/vcTCst2Z-fo/v-deo.html until 1:48.
      I have Cmaj7 (8x998x), Cm7 (8x888x), Bm7 (7x777x), Bbdim(7)/Db (9x898x).
Then there's 4 passing chords I can't pinpoint, yet. There's a chromatic line in there.
      And yet another 4 that could well be: Bm7 (7x777x), Bb7 (6x676x), Am7 (5x555x), Ab7 (4x454x).
      Resolving to Gmaj7 (3x443x)
