She should be the face of the "This girl can" campaign- total credibility! I read she stopped at the aid stations to express milk for her baby. How does she manage to fit this in with a demanding day job and a new baby?
Over the last few years we have had Nicky Spinks smashing the absolute record for the double Bob Graham record , Amanda Coker setting the cycling "year record" of 86,500 miles and Helene Diamantides blazing the way with the Dragons Back win- they all model a gracious way to further the cause of equality. As a bloke - I have to say these are the most eloquent equality statements. Not just impressive but inspiring . I agree with the earlier comment - she should get an an award from the queen - I imagine she would be embarrassed by this but it would be nice to see.
