    Pumpkaboo is a cute little pumpkin Pokemon. It evolves into Gourgeist, a Squash/Gourd Pokemon. It's a Ghost type. I personally find it cute.

    This park reminds me a lot of Phantasialand in Germany. It's just the overall quality of the park and the dedication to the different themes that make it seem similar to me. I would love to visit this park in Japan!

I want to go there and eat all the food and see all the attractions when I finally get moved to Japan for school/work! Such an amazing place! Also, I would go with the $37 (5507.99) Yen cup of butterbear, just because I love keeping unique things! I just came back from Japan and visited USJ, and while I wanted to love it, the amount of time you’ll spend in lines is still as insane as other parks you’ll visit in the USA. Like the majority of your time will be spent in lines, keep that in mind. If you don’t mind that, you’ll probably have a good time; good luck and have fun in Japan!

    Yes, Hello Kitty is popular in the West too 😊
    When I was pregnant with my Son, I saw all kinds of baby clothes and blankets and bedding and bought them for my baby, not knowing if I was having a boy or a girl and not knowing who Hello Kitty was. I then began collecting everything Hello Kitty I could find. I have a Hello Kitty clock that says a Japanese phrase when the alarm goes off, but I've now forgotten what she's saying 😂 I had to get a friend to interpret it for me. I have a staggering amount of Hello Kitty items that I've collected over the years and I have donated a few things like my curtains and bedspread because people were laughing at my "juvenile" bedroom. My Son turned 36 this year, so I have quite a collection.

      Considering how many shark die in commercial fishing (they get caught in the nets), we should eat much more shark meat to at least make use of the by-catch...
      Also, I'm not sure those aren't chicken nuggets. Since shark meat isn't usually eaten, it's probably somewhat expensive (and might put people off, even in Japan, where a lot more different meats are eaten than in the west...

    My biggest take away from this episode is how CLEAN the food service is in Japan! I'm so careful that it is a rare occasion that we dine out instead of cooking at home. The majority of table service restaurants in the USA are grotesque behind the scenes. I've gotten food poisoning from the west coast to the east coast to the deep south, and we don't even patronise fast food establishments (I've never been to a McDonald's). Japan looks sooo clean!

    Saying that the popping pearls from the Pokémon soda is a “unique experience” obviously comes from someone who has never tried the popping pearls from Hungry Jacks (Burger King). Also, saying “It’s been a while since I’ve eaten corn on the cob” shows that you don’t eat healthily in general.

    • @experience_japan
      @experience_japan  2 місяці тому +1

      Thanks for the comment! You’re right, I haven’t tried the ones from Hungry Jacks yet! As for the corn, I do try to eat healthy most of the time, but sometimes I just crave other things!

      what is your problem? Corn on the cob probably 8snt that common in Japan, and also its probably the least healthiest vegetable to eat

    • @deathbycheese850
      @deathbycheese850 2 місяці тому +1

      Who pissed in your Cornflakes? Get a grip. Lots of people don't get to eat corn on the cob regularly, it doesn't mean they don't get their 2 and 5. You obviously don't eat a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, and you appear to frequent Hungry Jack's, since you know the drinks menu 🤔.
