Well its a theme park tho.. I wouldn't expect much from food from any theme parks in general. They could probably do better if they allowed local food business's to sell their food instead of "corporate" based.
Middle class birthday cake is my favorite kind of dessert, so is 90% cream, 10% cake. Sounds like I'd love the food. Everyone is different. It could be the most delicious thing in the world to me. I once couldn't stop moaning over a bag of freetos.
The most OK tasting food I have in Japan is usually the themed food - themed cafes or in theme parks. Outrageously expensive, OK tasting...but its SO PRETTY. Pasta is always usually disappointing for me in Japan - I've very rarely eaten good pasta in Japan haha.
I agree. To be fair, the food aren't bad, but there are just sooo many delicious places in Japan, that anything that isn't delicious in Japan surprises me 😅
For the defense of the other vloggers regarding food. We have to remember that all of us have different tastes. It maybe good for them but to others it is not passable to their taste buds. One reason why some don't like a dish is when there is ingredient on the dish that they dont like, those reviews are not to be trusted. But even if they are good reviews, you gotta try it first. The one thing i hate is, the people who never tried the food but will tell others that they aren't good based on others' reviews, coz that is the reason why other food establishments gets poor reviews.
Uncle Jimmy, I just wanna say thank you for all the honesty. As a viewer who plans to visit the place I appreciate it so much how you give detailed descriptions like it tastes like artificial flavoring, syrups, don't expect too much, and like just skip this one comments. It helps us decide truly hahaha. Can't wait for more content from you as always!
Thank you for the laughs Jimmy! I've had a reallllllly tough month and you just keep on giving me more and more reasons to smile! :) Thanks again and keep up the good work!
As always, loving the honesty from Jimmy and your take on how other influencers eat it like it's suuper delicious was too funny! Happy to know that I support you while listening to your music while I draw! Looking forward to the other Japan videos you have for us :D
The food in America's version of the cafe, Toadstool Cafe, has better presentation at times and is fresher, but many key items are missing like Peach's SM64 cake.
I've been watching you for some time and I'm really happy to see your subscribers grow, you have a great personality and I love your humor. Also enjoy your knack for other languages. I wish you even more success in the future.
You deserve a like, sub, comment after how much you spent in the theme park 😭 but seriously though, Jimmy, I love your review vlogs because you’re honest and have a good sense of humor. Hope you enjoyed your Japan trip!
I reaaaally really enjoyed this video - maybe because I’m planning to visit Japan soon so the honest reviews were EXACTLY what I needed + I just enjoy Jimmy’s personality 😆 Also super glad to hear he makes such great lofi albums and that he’s able to make a living with his music ❤️❤️
Oh mannn I was supposed to plan for Japan in November but I'm going to Korea again 😂😂😂 Definitely will put this place in my to go list cause I only went to Disneysea the last time. I love travelling to different places through your lens! These travel videos are really amazing and I hope you'll always get the budget to travel 😂 MORE SPONSORS FOR JIMMY PLS 🙏🏻
Wow! Hope you enjoy Korea in November. The weather should be somewhat comfortable. To be honest, I'm not sure if Korea is a better visit than Japan, but I'm probably biased haha. How was Tokyo Disneyland? I was pretty impressed with USJ, but there were too many people for me to comfortably enjoy it.
@@jimmykimtv But the flights from SG to Japan are like almost 1.5x vs going to Korea (damn post covid rates)🥲 haven't been to Disneyland in Tokyo yet but i went to DisneySea pre covid. There were some pretty crazy rides. 😂 As someone who doesn't take rollercoasters, I took the Tower of Terror(elevator ride) and it was breathtaking. There's a really good view of the park when u reach the highest point! But yeah the queues get really long like any other theme park so gotta get passes for the rides you wanna try. USJ definitely would be 10x better than USS cause our park here is really small but going during non peak should help! 😂
I subscribed when you had maybe 10,000 subscribers. Looked back in my history and my first liked video was November 10, 2022. I had a few links that were deleted videos, you had about 5 videos up, so maybe you shuffled the older ones around. But 355K subs in a year is impressive, congrats!
Dude, I just discovered your channel. This is great, I love your pace, your commentary, your honest opinion. You don't try to be funny or say stupid things. No unnecessary edits, just plain perfect. Just subbed! Much love from México 🌮 💜
I like the honest reviews because it helps decide what to actually buy. A lot pf these things are just normal food but in cute shape so id get something that is the most special and good
The food at Toadstool Cafe in Universal Studios Hollywood actually does have good food. It's too bad the og park in Japan doesn't have the same options.
I love this video so much! Thank you for ur sacrifice the food must have been really expensive :’) This really helped me plan what i want to try when i go to Super Nintendo world! I appreciate your honest reviews and hope you enjoyed eating all the food~ i will make sure to support your spotify, thank you for creating such awesome content !^^
Thanks Jimmy this is the video that I need, I'm going to Japan next month and it's only two of us so I don't have stomach space to waste on food that tastes just so so, I'll definitely order the tiramisu carbonara and the mushroom soup. I can't believe I actually watch a 30-minute video without skipping you are such a great food reviewer
Thank you!!!!!!!! And as a fan, you should definitely go! The wait times for the rides are kind of crazy but USJ is definitely one of the coolest theme parks that I’ve been to!!!!
I can see from your profile pic lol Apparently there is Nintendo World in LA as well! Of course they won’t sell all those cute souvenir as Japan but better than nothing!
rofl i love this video. i remember going on youtube looking at nyc recommendations and being so disappointed in everything that all the youtubers were raving about. thanks for keeping it honest.
Just found this channel from scrolling through trying to find something to watch. Loved the video! Also followed you on Spotify. I love Lofi and will definitely listen to all your songs :)
I love you, Uncle Jimmy!!! Thank you for taking us to Super Nintendo World to try their food! 🍱 Their food looks very presentable, but the taste probably is not all that. I love the shapes, colors, and presentations, but like you said, it is theme park food. 🍄 Great choice of the fire flower drink box, and the popcorn star looks really cool! I really liked the Mario cart too, but the star looked like it did so much more. 👍 As always, great video, and super [Mario] reviews! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺 Jimmy. We have just subscribed to your channel after watching your travels to Japan! We love your humour and how you are honest about all your travel experiences. Keep the videos coming and sending our best ❤
Your tshirt looks really nice on you. Is it the from the same brand that sponsored the other video? BTW did you get to keep the mushroom soup bowl? It's so cute
Yes, it's the sponsored T shirt by Eduardo, haha. Also, I don't think I get to keep the mushroom unfortunately T.T They took the lid in the middle of eating.
I really love to watch your videos because you remind me of my dad who I’ve fallen out with, you have the same personality as him and it makes me smile.
In defence of the spaghetti and meatballs, I actually tried that out yesterday and for what it's worth, it was much better than some other joints I had when I was at Osaka. It's not restaurant quality, but given the sheer amount of traffic they deal with on a daily basis, I was impressed.
Thanks for trying all the food. I was wondering does someone else hold your camera!? Sometimes it seems like it. Damn, you can eat!!! Would definitely want to visit Nintendo World one day!!! ❤
I had the pleasure of being there this past March and I only tried the strawberry lassi (because everything was so expensive) and it was a life saver. I still think about it these days 😂 definitely recommend after a long day of walking
Hi! I subscribed and i have apple music. Gonna download everything and listen while i get ready for work or am hanging with friends. Thank you for your honesty and content
after trying both, the mario burger was way better than a cheap cookout and the end goal flag cake was actually good and not a cheap supermarket cake. just gotta put it out there
Oh this must be one of your best Videos. Super Nintendo, who doesn´t love that. As for myself. maybe worth going to Osaka and Universal studios for that reason alone. themed foods are more about the aesthetic and vibe than the actual food
@@locke8412 yeah its all about the social media prettiness as opposed to taste which is fine if you love a particular theme
Why were you spending money for eating pasta in Japan? Haha.
