Mark Mark Mark thank you For this video and the content, you never disappoint. And before I share all my praises, my message to you comes from a big sister place caring for your safety. I know you are frustrated with some folks in Tanzania but you might want to keep the comparisons with other African country experiences down as you still have to go and deal with them whether for short or long term as you decide on your future plans. Selfishly as a zambian, I hope you come to zambia and invest there. I am wishing you guys nothing but success while in 🇿🇲. And I am a big advocate of either relocate as many black Americans to Africa because there is alot of opportunities for those who are willing to grind. Even if you want to just invest or visit, please do and dont waste your money in europe or Dubai. And stop listening to people saying africans hate blk Americans, alot of them want to collaborate and learn from you as you will learn from them win win. Stay black and proud 😘
This is the most honest feedback one can ever give. Across Africa investment opportunities are huge and most Africans want an opportunity to collaborate, you wasting time in the diaspora invest home and create the jobs for our people.
I am so glad that I saw this video because it reinforced my hopefulness about the experiences I can look forward to on the continent. Meeting disingenuous people takes a toll, but that is not where the story ends. Our lesson in those situations is discernment. We need wisdom to determine our path and our true colleagues .
Your friend is giving you some nuggets of wisdom. Something that you already knew, but was about to be clouded by the bad experience you had in the previous country.
We Zambians pride ourselves by our ability to speak fairly good English. As someone who lived in Asia in the two years, I appreciate our dynamic weather and togetherness. New sub here!
Great video ! I think Mark is my long lost son . Im so happy to see you guys spreading the word and sharing there thoughts on Zambia . Im 65 and set up shop in Asia 25 years ago . Im still looking for new horizons and my next move ,Africa is on my radar. The more I see the more I like . My goal is to have homes and business on at least 3 or 4 continents , 2 down 2 to go ! Keep up the good work , peace and blessing be with you both
Hi Mark. Been following you for 2 weeks now. I am Zambian living in Lusaka. Good contents in your vlogs however, your videos mostly focus on your face instead of showing us what we need to see. People want to see your surroundings and not your face. You voice in the background is good enough. Trust me, your vlogs will greatly improve once you tackle that part.
I think you meant to say East and Central Africa? 😅 Free tip: the regions in Africa where the colonialists had to FIGHT to stay until defeated by Africans) are in fact the BEST areas of the African continent 😊✌️
I think it’s more routed to Africa the west Africans want to be the west of the world, East Africa some do not want to be linked to Africa and north well less said less done big up Algeria
I love cobblers, especially peach mixed 🍓 🫐 berry, and black berry cobblers. 😂. I love fruit. If I were in Zambia, I would like to eat some local foods too...😊
Thank you! Zambia is on my list of four African countries to visit and have a retirement home in one. I have seen retirees in Rwanda and South Africa. Is there any in Zambia? This includes Zambians abroad who have returned home to retirement life. My professional background is in higher education and library/information technology.
Yes Zambia 🇿🇲 is the best place/country to go in Africa. Go there with an open heart and mind. But don't go there thinking you'll exploit the natives. You'll regret it. 💯
Not only that, people should let all their trauma and negativity behind. Learn about the culture and respect it. Have some respect for their way of life, customs and beliefs.
Your are 100% correct we are peaceful and loving people but if you are found wanting or on the opposite side of the law you will regret ever coming to Zambia.. Our law enforcement agencies don't play.

@Brian Mulubwa My brother we will not apologise or be made to feel less African for developing our region. Leave her, we know who we are and we still have dreams for our beautiful SADC.

Africa is a HUGE and BEAUTIFUL continent🎉❤ Our stolen brothers and sisters in the diaspora seem to be spoiled for choice 😂 This is wonderful. You have so many countries to visit or to relocate to IF you want ❤😊
Hey brothers! I came to Tanzania from Canada exactly 2 years ago and since watching a couple of your videos Mark, I can say I have experiences some of the same issues. Overall I can say this has been an interesting experience, and I am grateful that the Most High has taken me on this journey. But as you mentioned, it is clear Africa has a long way to go. Mainly what interests me about Zambia is that english is the main language spoken, and it looks like they have really invested in the infrastructure. I would really be interested in visiting in the next few months. Is there a contact email or something I can connect with you and the other brother who is experienced with Zambia (I didn't get his name)? And if y'all happen to come back to Dar, feel free to give me a holla too.
Finally someone that came to Zambia. If you want a bargain in Lusaka on your goodies buy wholesale in Kamwala Shopping area and veggies (potatoes, greens, also charcoal) buy in Soweto market just behind City Market.
for internet, you can also get unlimited internet with mtn and zamtel. just buy a router or you can get the wifi sim and you're good to go. I pay K500 per month. you can pay more for higher speed
So awesome Mark & guest....you doing it! I am a senior female. I visited Ghana for a month and felt a fake welcome. English was rarely spoken in our presence as l was told easier for them to communicate with each other🙄. Yet my Ghanaian nephew speaks only English in America even when l told him to teach his son, age 2, Twi. At age 62 "respect of one's culture"works both ways and as an African American female l was not welcomed yet l was expected to adhere to their cultural norms. Ex., Taboo to say no thank you when offered foods yet what we say in America when not hungry.
Thanks soooo much for this video. I've been looking for this type of content! Any tips for a sister from the West who's looking to migrate to Lusaka? Any groups one can join online for tips on how to get started as well as to sustain an income? Thx

Sharon , here, we eat organic food. Fresh from the gardens or forest with little or no fertilizer
In America, they put too many chemicals in food. The water system is not great either.
I visited Zambia, for three times, and my husband and I decided to move there for good. People are so so good, I can assure you.
