- In today's video I'm tackling my second box from my stash! On Wednesday nights LIVE we went through the box, and we ended up with 7 items that I had to flip in today's video. My viewers gave me ideas and suggestions for each item, and I ran with it. I was inspired by all things Spring...birds, flowers and Spring colors! These will all work perfectly in a Spring Vignette! I hope you've been enjoying these videos since they are definitely helping me complete a lot of projects! I can't wait to hear what you all think.

I think you can pull out those little tops on candlesticks with a plyers before you paint or do anything with them.
Yep, I have done it. They pull right out.
I was thinking the same, maybe heat the top a little to release any glue inside.
Agreed! Pull that metal out 😆
Yep! I’ve removed them before as well!
Thanks for the tip! I’m going to try it!!
Love the bird soon much!
VERY NICE!! THANKS FOR SHARING...
Where do I find your lives on Wednesday?
Candle stickers turned out pretty but I show wish we will Stop destroying the beautiful brass
Try pulling the metal out with some pliers. I have before. Your projects look great!
Thank you!! ❤️ I’ll try pulling out the metal piece.
The gather sign could possibly be made to look rusty to contrast a little more with the apothecary color and make it look more worn rather than shiny or solid black.
I vote "Rust!"
I agree....or even dark antiquing wax. I think black would be too harsh.
Great idea! A viewer on my LIVE mentioned a rusty product that I can grab at Hobby lobby. I’ll have to check it out!
I think you did an excellent job with a quick flip turn around! Really love the Apothecary and I especially like how you group items together with the same color so we get a different perspective on how it works with different surfaces
Thank you Cindy!! ❤️
Sometimes the metal part that holds the candle pops right out
Thanks for the tip! ❤️ I’ll try to pop it out.
Maybe fill the hole with paper clay or Bondo up to the level of the metal piece. Then you would have a larger space to glue your round. Just a thought
you ay be able to pop that centet cap outof your candle sticks
Yes please, let us see your other spaces, I love that you can’t find your spring ribbon! 😂 it makes me feel better about my messy craft hoard!
Loved all of them! Gosh I love apothecary - it's such a great color!! :)
I loved your video! I especially love the sign! I would paint the galvanized saying with black …..I think it would make it “pop”!
I think I would like it black
I think black lettering would stand out better. It's a pretty frame.
I think so too!
I like the white wax much better on the candlesticks....Great job on everything looks beautiful!!!! Love the cutting board....
New to your channel. Enjoy your designs… Don’t forget to Sign your pieces! ❤❤❤❤
⭐️ STRAIGHT OUTTA TEXAS
Your up cycles were so encouraging. I must get busy adding some new stuff for Spring.
I loved the white narrow tray but that cutting board with the bird from Roycycled was my absolute fav! I can’t wait to see everything shrink away from inside your greenhouse 👀 !
Always so creative with your flips. The last project turned out great. Suggestion I would have made the tin letter rusty crusty. ❤
Yes I think the cinnamon rust would look great
Great Flips gurl!! Thanks dear, Kathylyn Ray from N.Mississippi
E-6000 with a dot of hot glue will keep the rounds on for sure as long as you apply plenty of E-6000 and just a Dot of hot glue to keep them on there until the other glue dries... I've done it several times.... I think the two colors would've been exquisite! Maybe cake batter underneath apothecary? Love your projects girl! Can't stop watching 😁😁😁
In your studio, is the brick wall original brick or painted panels of brick. Looking for something for my kitchen or Living room walk. Like your videos. I get inspired. Plus, your hauls blow me away.
❤❤❤ I love watching you. I get a lot of ideas! You are very talented…. In my opinion, the galvanized “gather together” would look excellent in black. I’m not a big galvanized fan, anyway. But if you like it, leave it! ❤️❤️❤️
I noticed you used Big Top, I think before you waxed the candle sticks. Would Dixie Bell. Clear coat work?
Cute projects! I love how you changed the sign color from the white. I think it looked much better. I think I would prefer a stencil saying "Gather". I don't like the together. And maybe a few small pics around the corners. Really loving the stash clean outs though. I'm getting lots of good ideas!
Lot’ of nice things😊 you make 👍🏻about the board - it’s in Norwegian (except for the word hunger) the text was Hunger er den beste kokk, translates to hunger is the best cook. And the rest was a simple old traditional rosepainting (rosemaling). Probably americans with norwegian ancestors that had it.
I have a chess board JUST like that, of which I was trying to figure out what to do with it... Mine folds in the center and I thought maybe a lap tray or treat of some sort with handles... Not sure. But you always give me great ideas! I'm just beginning to think about getting a booth at a local antique shop so you've given me SO MUCH inspiration!
Don’t like the galvanized on frame, love the apothecary and distressing
On the last project...am so over signs!! Make it an art piece with flowers etc. For Spring! Use decoupage or transfers or both!
Everything beautiful. Gather together sign is beautiful but words too shiny
Everything beautiful. Gather together sign is beautiful but words too shiny
I like all your crafts the way you created them. I'm sure the comments on what you "could" do are undesired. Keep doing what you like, you have lots of talent!!
love all you projects. personally i think the galvanized "gather together" would show up better black
I think painting "Gather Together" black would look very nice.
The candle holders turned out beautiful! I usually pull the metal cups out and fill with wood glue and wood shavings. Then top with a wood round. If I don't have shavings, I will cut down a dowel and fill with wood glue.
Sorry but I can’t understand what your saying about the name of the decoupage paper is called. Royce? Id love to order some. I don’t see it anywhere on your list of items you used. Ty
In the first flip ( the 2 candlesticks ) while they turned out lovely but I think, if it was me, I would have rubbed off some of the paint once dry to show a hint of the gold on the high points before waxing it. The white wax in the deeper areas and the gold on the higher areas would have added a hint of spring sparkle.
Sonnet, you should be able to pull out the little metal cups. They usually come right out. I think everything looks great, and you are getting so much done. God bless.
I would have painted the galvanized letters black to match the trim. I loved all your flips 😊
IMO leave the galvanized lettering. Love everything you flipped!
Like the apothecary on the sign , I agree the letters need a bit more pop so maybe outline the letters black . Just edges so the galvanized shows . Love all the projects today .
I have done that with candlesticks. I put a small wooden cube in the middle thats I secure with E6000. That gives you more area to secure the riser to.
I love the gather sign, but I think IOD transfers would look awesome.
Yes you can pull those candle cups out slide a flathead screwdriver or similar under the rim go around and then pop out 🙂 oh also look inside first sometimes it's screwed in so you'll have to just use a Phillips screwdriver first 🤪😁
Usually you can pull out the metal candle insert. Sometimes they're screwed in. Sometimes it's just glue holding them in. But you could also cut a wood dowel down to fit inside and glue or screw a wood round to that.
They pop
Out. I have replacements and always pop them
Out to freshen them up.
Sonnet... you can pop those little metal round things that are in the candlesticks right out and then glue and/or nail your wood round on top. I take a flat top screw driver or a metal putty knife and stick it under the lip and just slowly pry it out.
I love the flips. I would paint the lettering black.
] I absolutely love that apothecary color. Everything looks great. I agree with the person who said to make the letters on the sign look a little more rustic however
I would make the galvanized words look rusty and crusty.
Maybe just dab a bit of black or dark and decrepit here and there on the metal...I love it as is though as well.
As always I love your flips You can see if the sign sales like it is. Which is beautiful but if it doesn’t then paint it black or white.
I loved everything, very cute. I have a question where can i get those DIY paint. thanks
Cute projects. Love the birds and how you do the tags. The basket is super cute!
You can pull the metal ring off the candle sticks with small pliers. I did it on one of mine, and they came out really easy.
I think a copper or rest on the galvanized words would look amazing
I loved both of the trays! Loving birds too so the cutting board was adorable!
I like the galvanized but I think black lettering would look great!
vote for the sign gettimg a black paint job on the gather sign. All were great redos.
Hi im from kansas and want to be a member.is it to late?.love your Wednesday live
What did you say the decoupage paper was called ? Spring what ?
Black would look great for the lettering with the black frame
nice job, everything looks awesome.
I actually pulled the metal pieces out of my candle sticks, needle nose pliers and twist 😊
you can pop out that metal cup. It looks like there is a hole in the bottom of it. You could bend the end of a hanger and use that to hook it and pull it out.
Love the gathered together sign as is. I wouldn’t paint it.
What is big Top? I hear you talk about it but can't find it.
The medal part usually pops right out with snips.
you can remove that medal on top of candle sticks .
paint the metal saying black to match the trim.
Can u turn the candle sticks upside down?
I ❤ all the projects. I ❤ the apothecary color😊
I like it with the galvanized metal words
Wahoo!! You are killin’ it with the stash!!
I agree with the white wax on the candle sticks
Where do you get your paint brushes?
Yes, you can pull those metal candle cups out.
Pull out the metal pieces. I do that all the time.
I would paint the metal gather white
Love the candlesticks.
Flips are my favorite!
Love the apothecary color!!
Centerized is not a word.
Loved all the projects
Make the “gather together” rusty.
Love the gather sign
I think its very nice
You did a great job
Pull out the metal cup
It looks great.
Love them all!!
Sonnet, on the candlesticks-with a flat -edged screwdriver, pop the candle holder out, fill the remaining cavity with putty (or air dried clay) and this will be a more stable base as a riser. Know this works, have used this idea more than once. Favorite piece, the sign left as it is with the galvanized letters. Thanks for sharing
I love them all.
Hi Sonnet! I love the way you did the cutting board with the lavender-accent bird decoupage. (I think the saying was "hunger makes the best cook". Much better the way you upcycled it!)
Love everything, it’s hard sometimes to decide how to flip stuff, some things come easy others you just feel like giving up. I love the apothecary distressed background with the black frame really cute.xx
I love the Apothecary paint color. All the birds are beautiful. I love the bowl, Oh Sonnet I love all of it. ❤️
Sonnet,
I look forward to your videos... so much inspiration.
The galvanized words look good to me. If it doesn't sell you can always reevaluate it. Many of the metal candle cups will come out of the candlesticks. Definitely worth a try.
Lots of great ideas! In the last project I would take the metal wording off, outline it in black and then re-attach.
